In Fredericksburg.

We've been here in the Fredericksburg KOA for just over 3 weeks. We got a new neighbor today. He has a very nice looking Cardinal with full body paint and I have to say, a nice looking rig. The first thing I noticed, it has Goodyear Marathons.

The second thing, and this after I went into our rig, I heard him banging on something so I went out to see him working on his landing gear. He had broken the shear bolt.

Later I had a chance to look at his VIN label. I was curious about the units weight. It's GVWR is 16195. And it's running Load Range "E" Marathons. I'd say it's a bit under tired? I guess I should add, this is a new rig, on it's 1st trip out.

We're leaving here next Wednesday to start the slow trip home to WI. I hope all the snow is gone.

I wonder what his pin weight is. If it is 4000 then there is only 12000 on the axles. 12000/2=6000 (per axle) 6000/2 = 3000 per tire. Based on that he would at least be at max per tire. I know I wouldn't want to chance it. Ray you may pass him on the side of the road waiting on Good Sam road service. Guess you get what you pay for.

I am disappointed that you are leaving Fredericksburg for WI . I looked and your not going to Rayford Crossing.

Are you in such a hurry to get to Yankee Country that you would miss all your friends. I was hoping to see you and Lin sometime this year.

Hey Ray,
Kathi and I are right down the road in Ingram, Tx. We have two other HOC members here as well as 3 or 4 other Heartland owners. Have a safe trip back north!

Bobcat...No, just trying to save some $$$ by not extending our time down here any longer. We got to see most of our Texas friends down in the RGV at Hoover's. and Retama. I hear there's one spot left for the Nat'l Rally Bob???
Dave... Thanks for the wishes. Too bad we didn't know you were over this way.
