The Corvette factory offers tours Monday thru Friday at 8:30, 11:30 and 2:00. It's about 30 minutes away from the campground.
We plan on fitting this into our stay (we'll be at Cave Country CG til Wednesday) and wondered if anyone else would be interested in joining us.

I've been to the Corvette Museum several times and I highly recommend it.

Sounds like Friday might be the best. I was just looking at the site and we can get a private tour if we get at least 20 people. Looks like we're more than half way there already.
Is the 11:30 time frame good? No rush in the morning that way and leaves most of the afternoon for other activities.

Count Beletti as 2. We're okay with 11:30 Friday. Please confirm with the Chapter Leader to ensure nothing is "in the planning stage" rally-wise that may conflict.

Neale, check and see what time zone Bowling Green is in. I know Cave City is in Central time and the time zone line is somewhere just "north" of Cave City.

CORVETTE PLANT TOUR
I just got off the phone with the people that handle the tours. They can accommodate us as a PRIVATE TOUR at 10:00AM on Friday. The charge is still $7/person and they can take up to 25 people. They ask that, for a group, it expedites the process if one person presents payment for the group. I'll assume that role.

I have a list of those who signed up for 11:30 and will assume they can still go at 10am unless I hear from them. Please talk with others you know are coming to the rally and might like to go as well so we know when we get to the limit.
From the Tour website:
What to wear & what not to bring

For safety reasons, no crutches or walking assists are allowed. Wheelchairs are available at no charge. All visitors are required to wear closed toe and closed heel shoes (no spike heels or sandals). No cameras, backpacks, purses, fanny packs or other containers may be brought into the plant except by special request (for medical reasons, etc.) Also, all electronic devices such as cell phones, tablets, or walkie-talkies are not allowed in the facility. These items must be left in your car. There are no holding facilities onsite for guests' personal belongings.
Due to safety regulations within the plant, small infants/children in strollers, along with all children under the age of seven will not be allowed to tour our facility.

Beletti's are still a go for 2 for the 10 am Corvette plant tour. Does the tour include the museum as well?
