Our 5er (FR) has 16"LT tires and sidewall says 80 PSI cold and thats where they are set at 24/7/365. No problems. Coach weighs fully loaded, 13k and max GVW of 13,800.

As for the Sailun/God Year debate. GY are like 2x-3x more than Sailuns. Sailun while and "off brand" name has had very good results w/ RV tires. GY was only game in town for this size/rating---hence the higher price as they thought that had the market cornered. If Michelin made LT tires in "G" ratings, good bye GY & Sailun.

I could make a Michelin LRG tire with only a change to the sidewall data mold. Take the XPS RIB LT235/85R16E and mold the sidewall for "rated at 3750 max load at 110 pounds inflation as ST235/85R16G" while placing a similar 75 MPH speed rating that the G614 has. Most likely would have a better track record than the G614. Chris

Hey, I happily ran XPS RIBs on my SOB for 6.5 years and 40K+ miles and sold them for 200 bucks on CL. I then ran Bridgestone Duravis R250 for 4 years before selling the trailer with tires looked like new!!! I have suggested to Michelin that they could own the market with a LRG tire. Chris
