Thought this over some, and decided the best solution is not a slide-in-slide, but rather add a slide to door side (bedroom) and slide out the dresser and cabinet. See my mock up below...

Heartland, you are free to use this design, with no royalty payments. Unless, you want to toss me a free 3160EL-OC (Yea, the Oregon_Camper edition) just for grins. Hehehehehe... :)

It took me a few minutes but Here you go. How does this work for ya?

I am pretty sure you could get a floor swap to a Big Horn Floor in the BC. We do have the BC 3560SS and love the layout so if it the floorplan you want but in a BH I would think the wait would be worth it.

That is nice, but we love all the TALL windows in the back of the 3160EL....it almost feels like you're outdoors, while inside.

Having said that, my wife is keeping a sharp eye on the Landmark Louisville....that is "coming soon" ...when is soon???

Maybe be a tad tooooooo long 😉
I'd love to see a dresser slide out in every model, that way we could have deeper drawers and better clothes storage.
just my take on things

Cant wait to see what is coming! Hopefully no longer than 36'. We will be looking and buying a new rig this year. If we find the right floor plan.

Wife and I went shopping again today. Took another look at the Big Country as well as some others. Still haven't made up our minds. If we only knew when the new Bighorn floorplan would be out it would help, but I am having a hard time with not knowing what it will be like and when. I hate to say it, but the wife wants to pull the trigger. Camping season is sort enough in the Midwest. The residential refrigerator would be nice to have as this is our first year in a permanent site. You never can trust the Norcold when it gets hot in the summer.

Re: Landmark Oshkosh/Big Country 3560ss Floorplan in a Bighorn: UPDATE

After giving careful consideration to the Big Country 3560, waiting for the new Bighorn floorplan to come out later this year , and some other brands, we purchased a new 3970RD today. It is a very nice coach and we didn't know what the new floorplan will be and when it will come out. The Big Country had a few things I didn't care for and the 3970 will give the wife some of the features she wanted. The only downside is it will not fit inside our storage building during the winter and we will have to find other options to store it. We will not pick up the new 3970 for a few weeks as forecast is for 10-16'' of snow here tonight. Heartland still wins out over everything we looked at for their design and quality. Bighorn #3 for us!

Congrats and God willing and the creeks don't rise, we will be owners of a BC in April/May. As for the sis, Think Redwood had 2 years ago as I saw the sis at local dealer, but never stopped in. Then at RV show last spring, thought about going inside it, but saw the price tag and said, "nope--outta this cowboy's pay scale". Went to Hershey show last fall with the intent of staying w/ current brand we have, but didn't like some things on unit we liked and would've gotten, factory rep not too keen on my thoughts and made our current coach look good still. DW wanted to see what the 1/2 bath looked like in same brand and if you were a sardine, no problem. Ventured over to HL and they had the BH w/ 1/2 bath and that was very large for a 1/2 bath. DW & DS fell in love w/ the theater seats w/ heat/massage. Columbus day w/e it was raining so took a road trip to HL dealer and went thru some models. DW fell in love w/ the 3560SS bedroom, sis, fireplace and total amount of room in BR. DS said he'd enjoy watching tv while in the sofa bed on the 50" set. Has most everything other brand doesn't that we wanted. Sure everting isn't perfect, but overall, we feel it will fit the bill nicely. Was told too that if space is a problem, the 2nd slide for bed doesn't have to go out. 1 downside is access to bathroom w/ slide in opposite it----lil tight. So all in all, looking forward to it.
