I am having problems with my Level-Up system and have been talking with Lippert. My next step is to locate and check the mounting and connections on the rear sensor for the Level-Up system. AJ could you tell me where it is mounted (or anyone else that has found it). Is is behind the covered area or under the cover???

I think you'll do better to call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready.

What exactly is the level up doing or not doing? I recently had mine start cutting out while retracting.

Jam20ster, if your system is cutting out while retracting it may be a simple fix.
Many here including myself have had the cutting out problem and simply replaced the $10 breaker that protects the system.
Seems that some breakers are weak and need replacing.

Peace

I am still looking for the one on mine. I just got another possible location from HL Customer Service that I am going to try tomorrow. It is under the covering on the bottom. You have to get the location from Heartland because they are the ones that install the system. Lippert doesn't know exactly where HL installs the sensors.

I called Lippert and they stated that with my issue it is the batteries dipping low causing the auto trip feature to activate. My breaker has a short period of 10-20 seconds (it seems) then auto resets and I can continue. I will go ahead and replace the breaker and see if that helps.

For the record my batteries show to be fully charged.

I have a 2015 Big Country 3950FB with a storage compartment behind the hitch ball. Opening the door provides access to the breaker area. After locating your battery bank, look on the wall directly behind them and you should see 5 breakers. Now mine have red breaker covers that are removable and they are wall mounted like rungs on a ladder one above the other. These breakers have a rectangle shape with two threated posts and each with a nut and small spacer. Amp size is on the back. Wires lead in from the right side to the right pole and electrical wiring do the same on the left side and work their way up to your controller module. Usually the very bottom breaker has a reset button located on the end of the breaker. It is the only one in my set up. Test your breakers but be careful and if you need to replace one or more, then turn both batteries OFF using the battery on/off knobs and then proceed.

To the left of those breakers is a master bus breaker with cover. Peal back cover and find the breaker size{mine says 100 amps, although their manual states 80}. Using that reference I have changed my breakers to 50 amp and ordered them from Heartland parts. I keep about 3 extra. The reset time on the breaker after it overheats sh/be roughly 5-7 seconds and not 20.

You can read your battery voltage at anytime by turning on your inverter and reading te dial, which will be on the bottom, then turn it back off.

The more that breaker cuts off, the weaker is gets so it will occur more often.

Remember: yours may be totally different or maybe kinda sorta like mine, so be patience and check it all out.

Has anyone found where the rear sensor is located on the cyclones? I am also having an issue where everything works but during the leveling sequence the left side jacks don't come down before the system puts the right side down. There are no error codes and in fact the system completes the process with the left side not touching the ground in some cases.

I'm at the dealer now trying to pick up a 2015 4200 that I'm buying - doing the same thing, but it's the right rear that only comes down a bit then stops - shows Level and done. Techs have replaced the control board, but still doing it. They said maybe the pump? I talked with previous owner and he confirmed he never had any problems with it. Ideas? Thanks.

It sounds like the rear sensor. It's up under the underbelly. I replaced that module and haven't had a problem since then.

They are going to replace the pump - it sounded funny when pulling in the sofa slide - it whined at the end and never shut off. The PDI person said it didn't sound right. We'll see what the new pump does.

Well....no pump yet. Now, they are looking for the rear sensor - not where they said it normally is - they are opening up the entire belly to find it. I'm still concerned about the whining of the pump when pulling in the sofa slide and that it didn't shut off when it was fully in. Can someone confirm whether or not that is normal? Thanks.

The pump shuts off when you release the switch. When you continue holding the switch after the slide has reached the end of travel, the fluid can't move and the pump begins to strain against the load.

The rear sensor on mine is on the crossmember behind the rear axle, not under the cover. It's in front of the gas tank (I only have one).
