Attention Heartlanders...

Is it time to change the freshwater filters in your RV (if so equipped) or sanitize your freshwater system? Or maybe it's time for a new filtration system?

The Heartland Owners Club has asked our partner, RV Water Filter Store to create some product specials for our members (see image below or attached pdf).

Two of the specials are for two, 2-stage filtration systems. And a 3rd special is for 10% off your cart on any items in their online store.

Use the specials if they're right for you and pass the specials onto your Heartland pals.

Jim and All:
I have got one of those 2 stage water filters with the metal hangar. Most all of these metal hangars have 2 "keyhole-type" hangar screw holes on the top inside edge of the bracket. I got the idea of drilling 2 holes in the lower water heater external metal trim for 2 pan head screws not completely screwed down, to hang the water filter assembly from when I am parked. When moving out I put the filter and hoses in the rear truck bed until setup at the new destination.

Used their 2-stage system from the beginning (2009). Kept it in a large covered tote under the kitchen slide while on site. It traveled in the rig’s basement when in transit. Wintered in our S&B basement after draining and cleaning. Sanitized in the spring, along with all hoses, before use.

I use a 3 stage from them. Vary the filter types depending on the water supply where we are. Always use a 1 micron and carbon filter. Rotate the third between a 5 micron, and iron/metal trap.
