Roof is deteriorating on my 2019 Landmark Newport

Has anyone had an issue on the rubber roof of a Heartland 5th wheel? My roof is made of rubber substance and it has areas on it where the rubber is cracking and is deterioting. Andy

A new 5th wheel rubber membrane roof can be pretty pricey, like in the area of $10,000. You might want to check out Henrys Tropi-Cool Silicone Elastometric roof coating. I had an RV servicer apply it to my roof 2 years ago, and am entirely satisfied. Pre-treat mainly consists of pressure washing, my 38 foot Bighorn took about 10 gallons, and was done in a day. The vendor charged me $900.

Home depot also has the Tropi-Cool caulk/sealant.

Sometimes what you're describing is cosmetic wear and sometimes more than that. Dicor warrants the roof material. You might want to check their website for information and perhaps give them a call. In addition to providing warranty, they have the expertise to best answer questions about the roofing material.

Did you resolve your issue?
I have a 2018 Heartland North Trail and my roof was replaced just after a year now earlier this summer 2021 I’m have worst issue.
my research shows it’s Dicor ll TPO Rubber Roof
it seem to have bubbles in areas that the material isn’t attached to substrate also around the edges
and up by the front cap it’s isn’t attached either.
my sky light leaked earlier this summer.
so I cleaned and dried the area then I used Dicor’s self leveling lap sealant.
I went to check the skylight the following weekend and my roof had bubbled up around the whole light where I put the sealant.
I was very careful to make sure the sealant could be used on my roof and confirming with RV store as well.
so then I cleaned what I could and added Etera bond tape then put a bunch more leveling lap sealant over that and all around the skylight.
I went up to clean and put down Dicor protectant
and noticed more bubbling / air pockets where water can eventually get in Around the skylight.
I use my trailer to stay near my job site instead of having to drive home every night So taking it to be repaired again is very difficult not to mention my trust in repair facilities is zero!
...
I’m extremely disappointed with the manufacture’s that are using inferior products to build trailers along with poor workmanship.
people want to buy American Products but the pride in one’s job isn’t the same as years past.
when we spend thousands on an RV it should be built to withstand weather and not have roofing materials that don’t hold up after a couple years.
in the 90’s I had a Fleetwood 5th wheel and didn’t have any issue, it was built to withstand the roads and weathe.
