[SOLVED] New Torque t26 owner, Happijac mystery, motor slowing and stopping

Hi all, really glad this forum/group is here. Just bought a 2021 Torque t26 toy hauler. Love it. After buying it, the Happijac system worked fine, and we enjoyed trying all the bed and sofa configurations. But starting today, the motor crawls at about a third the speed it normally goes, lowers a few inches, then stops, then the switch won't work anymore. If I wait a minute, and I can repeat that process.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? Have I burned out the motor playing with it too much? Any ideas on fixing, or ways to troubleshoot?

Thank you! I'm worried I destroyed the motor...

Here is a copy of the manual for the bed system:
On the control module make sure the cables are securely in place. We had problems and it was a loose connections to the control module. On our rig the control module is on the ceiling near the rear next to the door. Our is a small white box.

You will want to be sure to have a fully charged battery or plugged into shore power.

Peace

Thank you both. We're currently on shore power, so hopefully it's not a power issue. Thank you for the manual. Our control box is also on the wall, near the top, next to the ramp. Oddly enough, because the bed is only down a few inches and white tarp is right at the ramp, it'll be a fun challenge to get to it. I'll check out the manual before and be ready to tighten any connections. We're back home for a few days but will be returning on Wednesday, and I'll give it all a go them. Thank you, and I'll report back.

I had the plugs come loose on our control box. After I was able to reseat the connections I took some scotch tape and taped these in place.
Yep it is a pain to get to the control box.

Do your other 12V circuits/items work like the batteries are fully charged?

Take the voltage of your 12 volt system at the batteries and report back. If it shows low, it could be a mini circuit breaker has popped out...this can be the cause of no charging from your converter. Plenty of past threads on this to search out.

Great and sensible advice, only I have to expose myself for just how new an owner I am. How do you take the voltage? No, wait, I'll look it up myself! Time to learn. I'll report back.

A huge thank you to everyone who responded. It was indeed that one of the connections had not only come loose, but was dangling in the air. The culprit? I'm embarrassed to tell you. I've seen some people put curtains up to cover the ramp wall when it's up, and I had been doing some preliminary experimenting with PVC pipe, just sticking it straight up without a thought that I could be doing some damage! Everyone here led me to something either currently useful, or useful for the future, and I'm very grateful. Cheers!
