Just want to see if it's legit or not, but got a e-mail from or spammer look alike HLOC asking for me to update info on file etc. Thought I'd ask here 1st to see if it's on the up-n-up.

I got a similar e-mail, but it did not have any e-mail addresses or web links set up within the e-mail which would make the likelyhood of malware low. As I signed in to this Heartland Owners site this morning (which should be entirely secure if YOU directly use your usual login method), I was about to look for my profile to possibly update it in response to the e-mail.

Hi all - it's legit. From our new Member Manager application, we have the ability to send email out to Club membership or any subset of members. Soon, we'll give Chapter Leaders the ability to use the system to engage via email with their members.

The reason for the emails over the last few weeks are to:
1. Give members an awareness that they may now pretty easily manage their own Club data as well as unsubscribe and even delete their membership
2. Reach out to recent new members that have not clicked on the confirmation link of their welcome email

I haven't seen any emails.

Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
There have been 2 emails sent. One on 7/6 and one on 8/4. They have been sent to all members of the Heartland Owners Club. The from address is Heartland Member Manager noreply@heartlandowners.club.

If the emails have not been in your Inbox, check your Spam file. Also if they have not been in your Inbox add noreply@Heartlandowners.club to your Contacts to receive future emails.

The jist of the emails is a request to go to the Member Manager website https://admin.heartlandowners.club/ add a password to your Heartland Owners Club membership, review your profile data and update, if needed.

Note that the emails were regarding the Heartland Owners Club Member Manager profile that you have as a Club member.

They DO NOT refer to this Forum registration. Changes to your Forum registration info WILL NOT change your Club profile info nor vice versa.
