    Wilderness RV Mattress

Old thread, I know.... But I wanted to give a plug for Wilderness. We bought a firm king and absolutely love it. We full time, so we’ll see how long it lasts. Right now we’re happy, happy, happy!

Two year old water heater leaking

Hey David-Steph! I still smile when I read your posts. We are David and Steph also! :) Yes, the support lady told me to mail pics in to verify the issue and said the techs could make the determination. The lady that received my pics wasn't so cordial.... The place I purchased from is out...

    Bighorn 3855FL Replacement Sofa

We're in a 2012 Big Country. All the original furniture was peeling, so we replaced last year with LaZboy residential stuff. We opted for a double love seat with recliners and a single recliner. We've loved it. We were able to get wall-a-way units that take up much less space because they...

It has a plastic plug. Sadly, I cannot find my receipt, but I will contact Dometic and see if anything can be done. Thanks!

Two year old water heater leaking

It's a Dometic. I pulled the insulation off and hooked it up again and it blew a pretty good hole by the corroded place on top. I guess I'm in the market for a new one.... What can be done to keep the from happening? Again, it's only two years old. Thanks!

Two year old water heater leaking

Hey, all! I’ve pulled my heater out to find a leak since the connections all looked good. On the top I found a corrosion spot with a trail running down. Is a corrosion leak a possibility? I haven’t put it under pressure since I pulled it. IT’S ONLY TWO YEARS OLD!! 😩😩

    New Carpet

Parts do and parts don’t. On our slides there is none. There is in the living area and bedroom.

    New Carpet

That’s exactly what I did with our last trailer and it turned out very well. But that was 10 years ago before these 60’s had me in their grip! 🤪🤪 I will remove it all myself this time, but I think I’ll hire the youngsters to lay it.

    New Carpet

Ah! I should have mentioned I am doing all the pulling of old carpet and emptying out the unit before they arrive. But, yes, they do RV's from time to time and came out to measure themselves. Thanks for the replies! It makes me comfortable with the price we've been given. DH

    New Carpet

We are looking at re-carpeting our 38.5 ft. Big Country. We’ve chosen a pretty decent carpet and just got the estimate for the job. It came in at a little under $1,500. I was curious if this is in line with other jobs you’ve had done. Graci!

    Carpet Re-do

Im finishing up another project, but I’m thinking to do the same - a piece at a time. There’s a carpet place that will work with me. It’ll save me a dollar!

    Gatlinburg, TN

Looks like you have some good suggestions for parking; now, let’s talk FOOD! 🤪🤪 Smoky Mountain Brewery (we like Gatlinburg the best) for pizza. The Old Mill and Applewood Farmhouse for home style cooking. If you get out to Townsend, Trailhead Steakhouse. For a good ol’ corndog: Fannie...

    Carpet Re-do

Thanks, all. On our last one I removed the carpet intact and took it to a local shop where they cut it to the exact shape and bound all the edges. It turned out very well. The problem: the 40’s were then; the 60’s are now - and they’re kicking my rear end! 😩😩 As for having no carpet...
