Dallas, TX to Big Bend National Park

Late this month we're planning a trip from Dallas to Big Bend NP. We plan to travel caravan style with some RV'ing friends. Suggestions for routing, camping locations, things to see, and any other tips/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Best dry camping spot, northern AZ, Prescott

Try "campendium.com". That is our go-to website when we're looking for a dry camping location. However, you can also use this site for locating a pay campground based on your price range, amenities, etc. and see user ratings (even for the dry camping locations).

    Zion national park RV sites

When we visited Zion, we came up from Las Vegas and drove through the tunnel. You have to get a permit to bring an RV or towable through the tunnel. There are size limitations and you need a permit purchased at the park. I believe the permit was $15. You can lookup the specifics on the...

    Zion national park RV sites

When we were there last fall, we stayed at the Mt. Carmel Motel and RV Park. It is a mile north of the Mt. Carmel junction (US 89 and UT 9) and 15 miles from Zion. The campground has only 14 sites with full hook-ups. It is family owned, has good wi-fi, and is very shaded. There's not too...

    New Sundance owner

Hello, PStorm7, We were in the same situation as you 6 years ago when we bought our 2009 Sundance. We bought our Ram 2500 CTD Crew Cab 3 months later. I had experience towing a 27 foot bumper pull. The 5th wheel is much easier to tow and back. If you get a short bed truck, be sure to get a...

Desert Southwest Fall and California Trip

Bogie, thanks for suggestion! We are at Alameda Cty Fairgrounds Campgrounds now. We drove into SF yesterday arriving at 7AM. I wouldn't have wanted to leave any later! We left little before 2PM. Again...good timing. Saw most of our highpoints. I would agree about not taking 5er into city...

Are any factory truck rims interchangeable with trailer 16" rims?

The 16" factory rims on our Sundance are looking tacky. The coating on the rims are coming off. I would consider replacing the rims with factory 8-bolt truck rims if they have the same bolt pattern and fit my drum brakes. I'd appreciate fit advice and any other considerations. Thanks in...
