Any solutions for the cushions for the dinette?

....and I thought my MPG was the only one with the cushion problem. After setting up the table for the bed, we store the corner cushions underneath the bed. You might look for the pics with some other post I have made here on the forum. :)

    interior comfort mods

Here are some new ideas on making use of the interior of your MPG. Especially if you have a small dog that comes with you. My wife and I enjoy our MPG but didn't want to be dictated by Heartland as to how they thought we would use their predetermined interior design. So, here are some ideas...

Traveling with a dog - MPG specific

quite a while back I had posted with pics of a quick and simple mod for a kennel inside the MPG. I cut a 16" x 14" opening under the lower bunk bed panel and installed a metal-ribbed door and latch. Our 50lbs bulldog and dachshund would be left inside the storage area. If raining, we use the...

    New Sink Faucet

Great idea! Although we don't do much washing cuz' we use paper/plastic products... we reattached the hot -cold handles to extend towards the inside so that we don't accidently bump them on with the stuff we place near the sink! Of course, your idea is better so that there is no hot-cold...

    ATF: MPG - Tail lights

If your question is about how to access the tail light "bulbs", there are NO TAIL LIGHT BULBS in your tail lights. The tail lights are LEDS. IF you need to access the LEDS, you carefully 'squeeze' the lens and pop them out of their beveled rings (the chrome rim). However, your tail light...

    mpg improvement

You have a GREAT idea! So, get pics and ideas from this forum, place into an attachment, and have it available for download. Look for my ideas and you have permission to publish them too! I have not copyrighted them! (wife says we could be rich if we did the publication first!) I'm really just...

    MPG Screen Room?

to MPG185-GA: I am working on a project to attach our existing canopy to our MPG. Before I continue, could you send a picture of your awning system. At the time of our MPG purchase over a year ago, the awnings were not offered - did not exist! Heartland put an awning attachment rack on the MPG...

Would like to see some enhancements to this MPG web site

To Marc515: Heartland should provide the forum with the MPG units produced and sold todate for us here in this forum. We also could see more MPG owners online if the Heartland dealers could place a forum internet address (i.e. pamphlet) with their info for the customer. R-pods have been...

    Quality Control on MPG's

Dear Yellowreef, and others: Owned the 185 since March 2010 - got the dealer demonstration model at a RV show. Quality issues were apparent when I inspected it, knew the kinks could be fixed or adjusted easily but bargained for a really good price (less than $XXXXX including tax) so that the...

Got a live one for ya...

Dear Manke: What you have described about appears to be liquid propane getting into the regulator. Propane regulators are designed to handle vapor - not liquid. Determine if you have "overfilled" your propane tank or one of them. Propane liquid expands as the outside temperature goes up from...

    How to reset furnace?

You probably have a surbuban furnance? First, check your safety exhaust paddle switch and the other two limit switches. Next, determine that your igniter is working propertly. If all are working correctly, then you need a new furnace controller. BTW, Heartland is notorious for using old...

    ATF: MPG - TV Installation

TV installation was VERY EASY.... determine the screen / tv size you would like to use, LG makes an excellent thin model, and you need a lite universal wall mount. I used additional 1/2 board trimmed and glued to the back of the dividing wall for extra stiffness for the wall mount. We...

MPG 181 design ideas from new owner.

Wife suggestd I post our modifications: Dog house: We use the 'through' space under the bunk bed to store our dog. I cut out a square hole on the interrior wall and placed a grill. Our dog can see us inside, enjoy the air-conditioning, and not be a bother when we are asleep and dog is out of...

MPG 181 design ideas from new owner.

You guys are right about the design of the "porch" lite. I believe if the designers had spent the night in the MPG, a LOT of other changes would have been changed from their prototype. I use a stick-on LED push-on-off at the door handle (about $8 at any local hardware mall or auto parts place).

So, Where Do You Put Your Clothes in an MPG?

Same here with the 181 floor plan... sometimes we remove the shelving in the pantry to hang clothes on a rod installed at top. Also, I cut a large rectangular access hole (22" x 13") under the lower bunk bed wall to have access to the rear storage compartment. Finished it out with trim, handle...
