Good luck with that Goldenbetty! We have the stock recliners, one of which leans..and upon consulting with the dealer..who consulted with Heartland, who in turn consulted with the manufactureer..we were told this "lean" was within tolerable design limits. How is that for a cop out? Interested...

We use a tripod and it does help with much of the shake when you're moving around in the RV. Make sure you get it tight enough. Means you need to let the RV down on it to tighten the legs and chains. You cannot get it tight enough by screwing the pin holder up into it.

Many thanks for your info and advice so far. Sailorand tuned me into the wind issue north of I-10. When I asked the gal at Sands about the wind there she admitted it can get pretty windy and is indeed less so, south of I-10. We are now looking at Indian Wells RV Resort. Anyone stayed there?
