Trim Strip Issues

How do you reatach the vynl on the strip that covers the screws on the front lower portion of the elkridge 34 tsre (2012 Model).
I cannot make these strips stay in place for any amount of time.

If I am thinking of the same vinyl strips you are referring to, you may want to replace the sections which are coming loose. It is readily available on a roll from many RV shops. On my Sundance, I have had the strips shrink and pull out of the track; I ended up buying new material and popping it into the groove.

Measure the metal strip the vinyl sits in before buying any. The vinyl comes in 3/4” and 1” width and you will find both sizes on a trailer. The 3/4” will sit in the wider channel, but will be loose and not flex enough to be held securely.

I replaced mine 2 years ago, I just put the vinly strip between my index finger and thumb and bend it slightly and re install it in the track, I did put caulk on each end like the factory did. The description of the part is screw cover, I got mine at camping world, it does come in I think a 100 foot roll.
