Brake problems And service work

Hello all I'm new to the RV world as in brand new travel trailers . Was wonder what y'all's experience is with dealerships service and the problems and monies involved with breakdowns / lack of communication on service depts parts. Make a long story short camping world of savannah has neglected to communicate anymore with me on lies after lies on their part confirmed through heartland . It's been a pleasure talking to heartland but would like to know what the next step is to resolve my situation with this dealership as to the damages to my bank acct are increasing daily on such a simple fix . Please advise if any help available I can be reached at clanigan77@yahoo.com thanks in advanced Chris lanigan

So lack of communication is one issue but what are the trailer issues you are experiencing?
Maybe someone here can help.

Peace

In the past I have always had heartland just send the parts to me, and I performed the repair. Obviously this only works if, you are handy and are willing to do the work. Regardless of the dealer, there has always been a lot of communication dis-connect with repairs from what I have read thru on various threads. Plus I dont want to wait six months for a simple repair to be done. And in some case the repairs are not completed really that well. Camping worlds have the worst reputation for a lot of reasons.

Its a general agreement among RVers to go to INDEPENDENT RV REPAIRERS (NO RV SALES) for your servicing needs. Service is a poor stepchild department at most any place that sells RV's. Check RVServiceReviews.com for servicer listings and RVer experience evaluations. Be sure to support RVServiceReviews.com by submitting YOUR OWN RV service experiences.

The RV tech doing our walkthrough with us when we purchased our Milestone didn't even know what the hitch height button did for the Ground Control system. He said he would have to find their master tech but couldn't say how long that would take. At that point, there were actually two techs there. I then asked how to get the RV back onto the truck. They said, just make sure the truck is underneath the RV when you hit retract all. Thank goodness for YouTube! We don't live in the area we purchased from, but I don't think that is someplace I would be taking an RV for repair even if we did.
