Slide Out - Wiper Seals

Hello,

We have a 2011 Bighorn. On the bedroom slide, the wiper seals are 'different' than all the other slides. The other slides have the wiper seal connected to the 'track' that holds the D seal. I assuming I can just remove the screws and replace the track/wiper seal on all these slides.

The bedroom slide has cables (see pic) and there is a gap between the D seal track and the wiper seal. The wiper seal appears to be connected inside the gap between the slide and the wall? How do I replace the bedroom wiper seal?

Thanks.

There is another thread on here with the stuff you need to order and how to do it. Do a search or wait for someone to give you the answers. I bought all the stuff but haven't gotton around to it yet.

i am replacing old slide seal on our 2016 Bighorn. What’s your thoughts on using some 1 “ size 8 self drilling screws to help secure the new seal which will be attached using the heat activated strip. This would mean the screw going into the fiberglass side. Is there a problem doing this?
