Blizzard NXT AC Issue

Hello, All! It's been awhile since I've posted here.

I'm having an issue with one of my Dometic Blizzard NXT 15K units and I was wondering if anybody else has seen this problem. The unit is 4 years old.

After running in automatic for a period of time the unit will shut down just like the 110v power was shut off and will not restart unless I turn the system off at the thermostat and turn it back on. My tecnician has replaced the thermostat, control board, and evaperator freeze up probe, and nothing has helped! The unit cools just fine when it runs and is not low on coolant.

Dometic has been great on helping us but nothing they've suggested has worked.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

How often do you use it and do you have a power watchdog or power conditioner?

Check out both ends of the communication cord. Looking for any corrosion ( green stuff). The cord looks like a phone wire.1 at the thermostat and the other on the ac unit. You can use dielectric grease after cleaning

Hi There mdw1003, did you ever get your issue resolved? If so what was the issue, I am having the exact same thing on 2 brand new units at the same time.

Use DeOxit on the connector contacts. That should eliminate the question of bad contacts with oxidation.
