big horn 35' 3160el 5th wheel- swapping out the flat pads under my levelors

can I lift the back levelors first and swap the flat pads underneath without a truck, and manually do so with the controls if I dont have a truck? I had the rig towed to my home.
Then can I lift the front levelors next and do the same?
then can I do the auto leveling again?
Thanks,
Scott

You can easily do what you propose with the rear levelers but the front will be a bit more involved.
I would get two 6 ton hydraulic jacks. Position one on each side near the front levelers center of the frame. Raise each one a little at a time until the pressure is off the levelers. Then add the cribbing.
I'm not recommending that but it's what I would do.

Peace

Easy answer, no. You need to support the front-end in some manner.

X2, I found out the hard way several years ago, I jury rigged the frame with some bottle jacks and wood, it fell off just before I was swapping out the foot, luckly nothing got damaged, it scared the daylights out of me though.

Best to be safe. Placing cribbing is safe, but I always had the truck attached to make sure it would not budge at all. You did not live this long to take unnecessary risks.
