Blinker lights - 2019 Cyclone

So I plugged in the truck to the trailer and the outside lights came on as they should. We checked the blinkers by putting the hazards on and they were working at first. As we were standing and chatting with the neighbors the lights stopped blinking and we couldn't them to come back on. (The running lights were on but wouldn't blink) Also tried to push on the brake and they wouldn't brighten up. We checked the cables in the Gooseneck wire cluster of the trailer and didn't see any exposed wires.
I tried looking through the manuals on the forum here but didn't see an overall wiring diagram for the trailer. Does anyone know where there might be one? Or if not any clue on where to look further regarding this issue? Thank you!

check your fuses under the hood of the truck. Some models have seperate fuses for trailers, look in the owners manual. I had to replace one of mine when I accidently shorted a wire on the RV.

Does the turn signals function or are these also out?
After checking the fuses as suggested, if no issues there, using a multimeter check to see if you have power at the hook-up at the truck. If that is okay, next look at the junction box on the pin of the 5th wheel. It could be a broken/loose connection in the junction box there.

Were they still working on the truck tho? Check plug in on truck to make sure all is well there.

I would start too, verifying the truck lights are blinking. I am thinking if you have a newer truck (truck make/year/model not identified in original post), the truck's computer system might be "outthinking" your human inputs and turning OFF things it thinks aren't needed for extended periods of time.

Thank you all for the help. So there was a small part of a wire exposed in the cluster. We taped it then checked the fuses. Yes the truck blinkers/hazards were working the whole time. However I didn't realize there were separate fuses in the truck for the trailer blinkers. This one was blown. We replaced it and all is well now!

Now to figure out why the slide seems to be bulging when closed🤣... love this thing but it seems to be always something lol

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Between work and trying to figure it out and move the thing it adds up quick in time lol.

My truck is a 2022 Ram 3500. I don't recall what the other guy had it wasn't a dodge, Ford I think? It blew his fuse too. I texted him to let him know lol.

But the outthinking thing is a good thing to keep in mind. My other vehicle is a 2013 and the one that the truck replaced was 2010 so a lot has changed apparently in those 9-10 years haha.
