Remote Switch will not turn off

2017 Landmark 365 we bought new 9 years ago. Full timers who travel the US. Yesterday while moving to a new location, after hooking up to shore power, the inside 'remote' switch is stuck on and will not turn off. First time with this issue. Any ideas on the cause/fix? Thank you in advance.

You might try cutting all power to your rig by unplugging from shore power and disconnecting the 12 volt battery, battery's.
This might reset whatever caused your problem.
Just a thought.

Peace

Thank you. Per your suggestion, I just did that, including shutting off the both battery switches (the ones you do when the RV is stored). After turning everything back on, I hit the reset on the inverter as well. The remote switch inside is still on. I've not noticed any other issue in the camper in the last 24 hours since this started. I wonder if it is a localized problem with the switch itself on my panel. Looks like it would be easy to remove and replace. I've attached a pic.

A quick Google switch yielded this:

To reset a Magnum remote switch, simply disconnect the remote communication cable from the inverter for about five seconds, then reconnect it; this effectively resets the remote connection and should resolve most issues with communication between the remote and the inverter.

Key points to remember:
  • Check the cable:
Before assuming a problem with the remote itself, inspect the communication cable for any damage and replace if necessary.
  • Consult the manual:
Always refer to your specific Magnum inverter manual for detailed instructions on resetting the remote switch, as procedures may vary slightly depending on the model.

    Hope that helps.

disconnecting the cables and power from the inverter fixed the problem. Thank you very much.
