I have never tried Dawn, but on travel days when I dump the grays after they have been sloshing around all day a lot of darker water comes out. The gray tanks can get pretty nasty and have to be washed out.

Your next camping trip try leaving 5 to 8 gallons w/solution in all your tanks as you travel during the day. Maybe at the end of the day when you set up and dump those tanks they will read correctly. Otherwise I would just ignore them.

I think it had a lot to do with Covid. Probably some of the experience left & never returned. Same material and design at about the same price point. So if you are willing and able to struggle through a year or so correcting everything you can still end up with a decent RV.

My experience with RV sensors on these holding tanks is they are all junk. Two of my four stopped working the first couple months. I simply keep track myself and don’t check any of them anymore.
