Are you checking it with the slides out and jacks extended? You need to check the level with everything retracted.

You mentioned you are using a 30 amp outlet. Your rig is a 50 amp unit. When you are using an adaptor to convert 30 to 50 amp, you tie both hot legs together. The adaptor could be bad and not suppling power to both legs equally, probably the leg that the convertor is on.

Have the battery/batteris tested first!

You must have 12 volt at the red and black wires, it won't operate with out 12 volts on these 2 wires. Do not try to supply 12 volts directly to the thermostat! It's supply comes through the communitaction cable
