Looking forward to meeting some fellow Hoosier Heartlanders - we are on 471. Ken will be there for both rally and pre-rally and does not know a stranger LOL. I will be coming in for weekends as far as I can tell at this early date since I provide day care for 4 grands every day.
They may have done you a favor, ours has been dropped open twice and it looks like crap under there. It is near to impossible to refasten that piece of coroplast back in place without at least four guys holding it up for the guy with the screw gun lol.
I can't figure out why all of those front living room layouts always have 3 seating areas. Why not replace on of the side sofas with a desk/craft/office space?
The mini garage would work for lots of folks I think.
I understand completely I also do most of my own work on my vehicles. I always have to double check any work done outside of my shop. It will be fine just check their work when they finish for peace of mind.
Comfort and durable should be the hallmark for furniture in the Landmark - and I don't care one little bit about "features" like cup holders and USB ports!
Give us quality for a change!!!
Ok, our kitchen slide has been making a rattling noise and pushing the vinyl a bit for a while now. It sounds like the roller is either cracked or not turning as it comes in. While we were on our last trip I noticed the vinyl is cut in 2 places ( I assume this is at the ends of that noisy...
Here's my two cents worth...
Use theatre seating where the sofa is and put a table and chairs in the back where the recliners are. My reasoning is that the sofa area is the best television viewing angle and if the chairs were somewhat like an office chair with a swivel seat they could be dual...
We are spending the eclipse at Duck Creek in Paducah KY. Hope they don't jack the prices up on us. The point of longest duration of totality is near Hopkinsville KY.
There is a really good interactive Google Earth map of the path of eclipse so you can find places to view.
Someone years ago told me that electric brakes are just as reliable as a clearance light. Disc brakes are the only way to go if you travel at highway speeds with a big 5th wheel
We came in just before the meet n greet yesterday straight from Hoover Dam. Ours was the Landmark some of you saw parked waaaaay up the hill.
Looking forward to meeting everyone - Ken and Kathy in site 144
We begin our meander to LV a week from today! Hope we have enough energy to pack and go after spending the next several days helping our son and his family move out of our basement and into his new home! We will definitely be ready for some r&r.
Pam & Lyle, since we can't make this rally I will give you our thoughts... we always enjoy the Shipshewana area, White River is great but might be hard if the group gets too big and they sometimes have problems with flooding, Follow the River is nice but "middle of nowhere" lol. We really...
If you decide to go to Michigan and happen to be there at the end of June - Engineer's Day at Soo Locks is a great event. Camp along the water - watch the big boats coming through the locks.
I doubt very much that we will be able to visit on Thursday as planned... our son closes on his new home on the 15th and we will be helping them move (out of our basement LOL) most of the week of the rally. In addition to packing for our trip to Las Vegas - makes me tired just thinking about...
Re: UPDATED: 2016 - Las Vegas Rally - Pre-Rally Tours
Jim or Julie, we will be coming through the Hoover Dam area that Wednesday morning on our way to the rally. If we should happen to be there when you all arrive would it be ok for us to buy a ticket and tag along with the group for the tour?
Pam & Lyle, do you have any idea of your plans for Thursday evening of the rally? We thought we might drive up and hang out with everyone before we head out for Las Vegas on Friday.
Bob, I couldn't figure out how to fill in your email survey, but we plan to participate in everything except Thursday evening meal and possibly the rig tours if we decide to go sightseeing on Saturday.
Sounds like a great rally!

Time to start planning for what to do and see in Vegas!
Re: EVENT: North American Heartland Rally: NV, Las Vegas - 10/6/2016 to 10/9/2016
Jim or Julie, could you put a link to the rally agenda and/or registration page on the first post of this thread or the events tab thread? I can't seem to find it here on the forum.
Thanks!
Here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet - Sauder Village in Archbold OH. They recently expanded the campground and have the pioneer village, Sauder Furniture outlet, a bakery, a restaurant, use of the hotel pool, and several shops on the property.
We have held rallies there before the...
You might call some local rv dealers - they may have one that was removed to replace with table and chairs. Also since you are in OH, you might call some of the RV surplus businesses in the Elkhart IN area too.
Made it home safe and sound, great rally Dan & Karen! We agree with Roy that the Springfield area has lots to see. It was great to see Kenny and Kathy Strong as well.
Call Heartland Customer Service - you will find contact info under the Portals tab at the top of this page in the column on the left. Have your VIN number when you call.
Ken & Kathy were the best chapter leaders Heartland could ask for! Thanks for your friendship and "adopting" us when there was no Indiana chapter! Best wishes to you both!
