So sorry to hear about your problem! If your couch is like ours, the cushions come off in big sections - flip the foldout bed open and look for plastic "clips" that are sewn to the cushions and fasten to the metal framing. They just pull off and the cushion can be removed. I discovered this...
If you where on I-57 near Effingham Il. north bound pulling a Big Country with a small single axle trailer behind it you may want to check your roof. When it met this rig the entire front section of the roof was billowing up with air under it.
Hey Keith, you and Kim should come out to the track Tuesday night - they have a Tuesday Night Tailgate Late Model Dirt race. It was a blast to watch last year! PM me if you are coming.
Next month we are joining two other couples and attending the Nascar Truck race at the Eldora Speedway in Ohio. Leaving from there to spend a couple of days riding the roller coasters at Cedar Point with our oldest grandson and his parents.
Sorry to hear that Mark! Ken did his own repair when we had a blowout - PM or call him for details. He might even come help if you say "pretty please" LOL
Safely home and unpacked! This was a wonderful weekend with friends old and new - no one would ever guess it was your first rally as chapter leaders Hoyt & Mary!! You two are first class all the way!!!
Just found out that Zinck's has opened a fabric store in Ligonier!!!! Monday was their first day - we have to add that to our shopping trip girls!

Glad to hear that Nancy wants to shop, but I am worried that if you and Ken spend a couple of days in Elkhart Co that there will be no money left for fabric (or for property taxes which are due May 12 :(:( )
The company I work for has over 10,000 trailers and we had bearing problems on trailers after some would set during a slow season. All of our trailers are grease filled bearings now. Minimal bearing problems.
Semi trailers use to have oil bath bearings. When they set for months at a time the top of the bearing dries out and rust. With grease the bearing tends not to rust when parked.
Hoyt, Ken will be there Thursday, I (Kathy) will not be there until Friday sometime.
Also, our SOB friend Dan has to cancel, he is having work done on his motorhome that will not be ready in time for the rally.
I don't want to add insult to injury, but if you ordered a new Bighorn and took delivery in August, it should have been a 2014 model I think. On another thread, someone said anything ordered after April was usually the next model year. I wonder if CW La Mesa shopped your unit from another lot...
Last time we stayed at Ft. Wilderness we got a camp site right behind the cabin that the kids rented.Grand kids stayed some nights in the camper and some nights in the cabin. We where maybe 75 feet from their cabin. That let us all have our privacy and be together.
Long winter and NOT OVER YET! We are supposed to get another hit tomorrow, 4 to 6 inches plus ice and sleet...
Karen, I hope you can return home by May!
Dennis, I remember a rally in Elkhart in April where we had snow!! Share a little of that 70 degree weather, will you?
We got the mor-ryde slide tray at the Goshen rally workes great. It sets on 2x2's to clear the door ledge that lets me store extention cords and leveling boards under it. That eliminated 2 totes I have more useable room now than before.
Ken, while we would love to join your rally, it would be the third weekend in a row for us and that four letter word "work" makes it hard. We may however, drive down for the day on Saturday if things work out.
Got a call back from the campground a few minutes ago, we are confirmed! Coming in Thursday, (maybe earlier if we can arrange an alternate babysitter to replace grandma) leaving :( Sunday
