I don't believe anyone is trying to scare them. They asked for opinions of course everyone has one. I am not a proponent for truck overkill however I have personally spent money unnecessarily by not thinking ahead a bit or being reluctant to spend a bit extra up front on an adequate vehicle...

As most are saying go with a diesel. When we had our first TT I traded an almost brand new Toyota 4 runner for a 1500 truck thinking it would be fine. It pulled fine in the flat areas where I live in Ohio but our first trip to TN it seemed the truck was "screaming" all the time in the hills...

We just bought a 3575el. When you have a great view the big windows are awesome. For us the 2 blankets we stored in the cabinets of our prior coach was not a big deal to move to the rear cabinets. We ordered with the slide awning which helps reduce the heat issue.

Congrats!! We ordered a 3573el in March and picked it up in time for National rally in Goshen. So far we really like it!

Katy I highly doubt your truck has an exhaust brake unless it was added after market. Your trailer will have electric brakes do you have a brake controller on your truck for electric brakes?

I have a set of towing mirrors from a 2000 Chevy not sure if they will fit your truck. They basically snap over the existing mirrors. If they would fit and you want I will give them to you.

I will be coming in on 33 from the south and plan on taking IN-13 off of 33 thru Millersburg and coming in on CR 34 to the fairgrounds. Will be able to avoid the construction and traffic thru Goshen which can be a pain depending on time of day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I am planning on ordering a B&W 18k Patriot this weekend as I am getting a new coach. I currently have a Reese hitch and my initial thought is to measure the current height of the Reese and set the B&W to the same height. I think this would at least be a good starting point then can adjust...
