Normall you can't get local channels when you are abt 150 miles from your home. This has been the case for a long time. It has to do with stations and local advertising. Dish got into serious trouble for switching areas when we travel outside the channel beam.

We stayed at Mountaindale also.. In my book this is the nicest campground close to Colorado Springs. No phone signal, no internet, but the campground has a great internet. Beautiful scenery. It is 21 miles south of Colorado Springs on hwy 115. Here is a photo of our camp site. BC

I carried 3 cans. Really never used them. When I got back home I went to empty them into my OEM tank, I needed a long funnel to pour the diesel into the tank. I saved up my pennies and installed an aux tank. So the point is be sure you can use the cans before you leave. BC
