Dave, just to let you and Julie know. Issues in KY are forcing us to leave Willow Tree early and thus we will not still be in Myrtle Beach at the time of the rally. Golf courses are turning green and the weather is getting nice. Wish all the Heartland family a great time.
The wife has asked if I could add a handicap bar assist for her to the tube to help her in getting out of the tub. I have looked at at the bars and my only concern is the structural strength of the wall. We have a 2013 Sundance 3310CL. I'm hoping one of the folks at Heartland will see this and...
Switch should turn on the lights with or without being hooked to the truck. Sundance I have owned do not have a battery disconnect, but I have added to both of mine with no problems. Some Wal-Mart's have the switch in their camping section. To be real honest, I prefer the electric screw Jack's...
We had a 2011 280ORLS and it was great. Your truck should do just fine. Pulled ours with a gas 250 to the Rockies and back. Empty I think the weight was 8700#. Hitch, went with a Curt Q5, transverse it to the new truck. Easy to remove in two pieces when not pulling.
Mine also rides in the basement attached to its mounting base, no box. When at a location without good regular TV or cable I mount it on the ladder. Power cable and coax along with a braded security cable travel on electrical cord real. Permanently dropped a hookup for the cable and 12v power...
Nice to see another Sundance owner sign in. We love our 3310CL. Took a little while to work through some small issues to get the coach the way we wanted everything. But now, we truly love the layout.
As for tires, I just replaced the Towmax tires with Maxxis before leaving KY for our winter...
Can not speak to the axles, but the pin box change out is easy and I have done it on both Sundances we have had. You can do it in about an hour if you got a second person to help hold the pin box.
Always up for the opry.
And sadly we will not be at Goshin this year. I am pretty sure Millie is going to insist on making Granddaughters wedding in June.
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: TN, Nashville - 10/16/2015 to 10/18/2015
From what I read, as a group we just need to decide that as we register we are going to try for area "xyz". We may not be door to door, but we should not be on opposite sides of the park. We just have to communicate...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: TN, Nashville - 10/16/2015 to 10/18/2015
Two things.... it is "Combs".....and not to hijack your thread, but any thoughts on how we might keep the TN clan together at the national rally?
BTW, are you guys still in ND? We will be headed back to Grand Forks before the week is out. Tell Kevin and Nellie we said hello.
As for a Munzee Clan, at least it is something that can for only the month's you want to participate in.
This month marks my first Clan event. Thought that maybe sometime in the future it might be interesting to do a Clan challenge with fellow campers as opposed to total strangers.
Example of points for this month's challenge.
Physical scans (caps and deploys) count as double points for the clan...
Tell the big guy I will handle scheduling a round or two (Thursday/Friday mornings) of golf for those who want to play. Will use Two Rivers which is like only 2 miles of so from the KOA.

Re: Onstar sucks . . . anyone with me?
Ice took down everything electrical. For what ever reason the only service that was working was Onstar in our GMC Acadia. No regular cell phone would connect to any line. You did live it, we did and that was the way it went down. Cell and sync in My F250...
Re: Onstar sucks . . . anyone with me?
I can only say that I am alive thanks to Onstar. Wish Ford had it for the F250, we keep it current on the Acadia.
I am not one to step on the big guys toes. Just though that out as a question. You know me, golf clubs always go, Millie and Lucifer might have to stay at home. LOL
Here is a link to the KY requirements. Looks like nothing needed if CGVWR is less than 26,000#.

Dave, just to give you a little headed up. We will most likely still be just up the road at our winter stay (Willow Tree Rv) at the time of the rally. Would defently like to drop in and participate in any activities or golf if the guys play.
Was returning home today, Sunday Aug. 31, spotted another Heartland Member pulling south.
Big Country, tan & brown, Texas plates
Ford Dully Truck, white
2PM crossing the Ohio River Bridge heading south from Indiana into Kentucky
We were in our car so you didn't realize I'm sure we were...
Guys, we are going to have to cancel our planed trip to the rally. A family emergency will take us to Grand Forks, ND first of next week and we do not anticipate being able to leave before the rally date.
Tom & Millie
Not Florida, but for a golfer it is heaven. We winter at Willow Tree RV Resort (http://willowtreervr.com/), Myrtle Beach, SC. The resort is actually just north of Myrtle Beach (9 mile) in Longs, SC. One of the finest RV Resorts in South East if not the best. If you have never been to Willow...
Shawn, I'll throw in my two cents. I owned a 2011 F250 with a 6.4 gas engine. Pulled a Heartland Sundance 2800RL fifth wheel (9600# loaded). Pulled east through the mountains to SC and back home (KY), then out to the Black Hills in SD. The truck was awesome, believe me when I say it was a gas...
