Bob your doing great! Don't worry about the weather can't control it. Everyone will adapt and improvise. Now for those of us that are still working know a rainy day camping still beats a great day at work. See you tomorrow evening rain or shine!
Definitely Impala. I had 3 different ones as company cars they were like little tanks. Great in the snow also. From the pic it Looks like coyote might be road kill.
I was at Tiara on Saturday and the salesman told me they are a new "economy " model big horn. They don't have the back fiberglass end cap and the interior I thought was noticeably cheaper looking. The exterior graphics looked pretty good. If I remember correctly it was priced similar to the...
If you head up to Michigan from Columbus I would recommend stopping a day or two at Frankenmuth. It is a small German themed town with some good food and music as well as Bronner's Christmas shop. You can take 23 out of Toledo and avoid Detroit. 23 reconnects with 75 above Flint, MI. After...
Your a hoot! I don't blame you though. My wife gets it several times a year working at our cabin. She of course blames it on me each time. I am one of the lucky ones that it does not bother.

Hi Andy
Registration is open until end of the day 7/19 based on the information Bob posted in the first post of this thread. I believe you just call the campground make reservation letting them know you are with heartland rally then let Bob know your attending. Hopefully you all can make it.
Camp Gulf is what I was looking at do you prefer it over Destin West? It is closer to Pompano Joe's which we love so that is why we are leaning toward it. Apologies to Mike for hijacking thread.
Happy Birthday! What a great way to spend it. We love Destin although we have never RV'D there we plan to next year. I will put this park on the list. I have been looking at some parks just east of Destin also.. enjoy
That a great saving and that is a real nice area. We spent many weekends on PP lake back in the day when we lived there. There were no commuter trains back then. Has to be a great way to beat the traffic in the city.
Few thoughts of some areas that have some various activities or attractions close by.
Loudonville OH, There is Mohican Adventures Campground and several others that are along the Mohican River. Various activities such as canoeing, golfing, antiques and Amish nearby.
Port Clinton Tall...
Nice looking rig. Always seems to be a lot of debate on slide out awnings. Some love some would not have. Pro's and Con's like everything. Good luck in your decision. Where were you camping in Northern IN? Campground looks familiar.

I am pretty sure they are designed to be plugged in all the time. I have never disconnected mine between uses. The P3 is a great controller. My truck now has an integrated controller and I would much rather have the P3.

Great payday for the Bontrager family $576 million.
It would be interesting to know Thor's strategic business plan related to it's acquisitions. While they have some product differentiation in the various companies I.e Airstream, Bison, Heartland....they also have a lot that are similar...
The irony is if you would have wanted the stickers they probably would have refused to put on. Perhaps they should use the sticker glue in the lamination process [emoji1]
Lol! all great!
JohnD I am like you the old phart where I work. It amazes me how technology driven the younger generation is but also just how stupid some of them are.
Just like a new vehicle the more you use it the quicker the "new" smell will dissipate. Our first RV used formaldehyde and when in storage and it was hot out it had a strong smell until we opened it up and it cooled down.

Hate to hear about your bad luck. Sucks to seemingly have everything come together then disappointment and lose money on top of it. Hopefully your at least enjoying that cold beer. Hopefully they will get fixed and you never have any more issue.
If you have some whiskey rub a little on their gums. It works. When my kids were small my mom told us to do that and we resisted until Almost 4 straight hours of screaming...rubbed on a little JD and provided relief for couple hours.
We normally stay at our property during holidays but this year we are going to be at Whispering hills campground in Lexington, ky until Tuesday then on down to Nashville for several days. Meeting up with my brother and his wife has been well over a year since I have seen them.
Going to hit...
