You might look into this type of way to carry your bikes. I like it and a number of others have the same mounting.

Re: What if?
I would not buy a different pickup without an 8' bed. So my answer is no also...
Just out of curiosity, why buy a short bed. If you're going to pull a 5th wheel why loose the space? it really isn't a big problem... Not to me anyway.

Hi Oscar..
I guess a picture is worth a 1000 words. I put 17.5" rims and G114 tires on my Bighorn. They replaced 16" Michelin XPS Ribs. The 17.5" is in the middle..
Glad I made the change.

We had a nice rally this year. Had some new Heartland owners that it was great to get to know. Even found out that one of our Heartlanders ended up buying a new Bighorn.
If you weren't here you missed a very nice time... If you are on Facebook you would have seen the great steak we had and the...
I downloaded Garmin MapSource, which is no longer being updated but is still good for existing file use. I opened the GPX and a GDP (Garmin Data file) with no problems.
Duane.. You need to get an update of S&T's. Also found out that if you save older S&T files say before 2009 you can't open...
Wow.. Didn't see so many problems. I can load the GPX file into my 2013 S&T with no problem. It does not load as a route but as individual POI's.
I don't have MapSource on this computer to test it. I don't any other mapping programs other than BaseCamp, MapSource and S&T.
Bernie: what...
The file uploaded is a GPX file inside a ZIP file. Double click on the ZIP file and you should see a file of the same name but with a GPX extension. I exported it from BaseCamp and was able to import it into Streets and Trips 2013. When you see the GPX file you can copy it to a different folder...
Ok.. I am trying to upload the file again as a zip file. I haven't used the zip files in a long time, but it is built into windows 8.
Looks like this will work. I hope this helps someone.

Over the years I have stayed in a number of RV Parks. Some good some not so good. Sometime ago I posted a GPX file of the campgrounds. I don't remember when I posted it but as I get ready to travel this year I was going through the list of campgrounds I have in BaseCamp. I exported them thinking...
Well it has been a nice day. Great weather and a good rib dinner with friends.. Back a the campground we visited for a while and I took a few photos... Here is the group photo...

Where did you get the information about the coolant. My dealer has been pushing their Gold all the time. I had someone put in some red or green and they told me I needed to change it back out to Gold.
The mechanics tell me that the only difference between them is the time you need to...
I have looked at the Glock, the M&P and the XDs. I have not shot any of them. I like the M&P and the XDs feel. Handle is larger. However I would like to fire them. Any idea of how to fire them before I buy them....
I was looking for a 40cal but the XDs 45 looks to be a bit larger for my hand...

Well I made a reservation for Jan 2 thru Jan 5 leaving Monday 6th.

I an looking to get my CHL from the local VFW Post next month. I have been reading and looking at different handguns. I like the Glock 26 which is a 9mm. A Glock 27 is a 40cal. Did I read right that if I bought a Glock 26 Gen 4 which is a 9mm but I can also buy a 40cal barrel and use it on the...
Well we have laid my Bride to rest. It was cold and roads were icy but we were able to arrive at DFW National Cemetery.
For those that could not make it here is a link to the inspirational video they showed at the funeral.. I was impressed. I hope you like it.. I also posted this on FB...
Thank you for all your prayers... The funeral home worked hard for us and was able to get another date setup..
Services will be at 10am on Monday Dec. 9th. Internment will be at the National Cemetery in Cedar Hill, TX at 2pm.
I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Things you might worry about.. You water pump could freeze. Disconnect the water hose from the shore services and the trailer. Remove your sewer hose and put it in the basement in a plastic bag or box. Put 2 - 150watt light bulbs in the basement and lower or remove the wall in the basement to...
Fonz46... Hi Joe. See you made it on the forum.. As we discussed this is a great place to get good information. I would get the Yetti package, dual pane windows, dual A/C,
Also, if someone would confirm for me the Bighorn has a 2 year warranty... Is this right guys??
I have known Joe and...
I have not seen the recommendation to parallel with 2 50amp breakers however here is what Lippert has recommended. I used an 80amp breaker and have had no problems..

Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: WA, Deer Park (Spokane) - 7/25/2014 to 7/27/2014
This is a great park. We stayed there in August 2011. Very surprised when we arrived.
We are hoping to travel north to Alaska again maybe. Depends on the doctors results this winter.
Here is a photo of one...
I have the same 2008 3400RE Bighorn. I changed out the antenna head for a Sensar IV Replacement antenna head at camping world. It does pretty good. I also changed out the booster (controller) for cable and OTA antenna. We are north of Dallas and I get a beaucoup of stations. I cut the cable...
I have purchased 3 ice makers. All but the last one has died after about 1 year. Someone recommended the one at Target made by Emerson. This one is still working very well..

I also am glad I use ZEP on my trailer. I have washed it a few times and it needs one now, but the shine is still good. I just use Dawn in the wash water and it works good.. BC
I am still enjoying my RV760. Have found a couple of glitches. Sometimes when I am making a turn or the GPS is telling me the street to turn on it will announce part of the information then a little bit down the road it will finish. Like "Turn left on Stacy Road in half mile" or something like...
If you placed another lock that would fit the door, anyone can open the door with a good screwdriver..
Over the last 6 years of fulltiming I have never had anything stolen from in or around my trailer. I have had my trailer damaged by someone and they just left left..

Update... I did find a memory slot on my RV760. It is called a memory stick and it is a small slot on the bottom of the GPS.
I have been using my RV760 a lot and I am really happy with it. Only problem I find with it so far is some of the places on it are not there or it takes me to the wrong...
I would go get the trailer. If they haven't worked on it I would not pay them a dime.
I have a mobile repair do my work, warranty or otherwise. Never had a problem.

One thing I want to make sure you all know... I don't know if this will route me away from low underpasses yet. I did turn on a street here that has a tunnel and it warned me, but did not indicate the height, which on this tunnel was way more than enough. When I find out if it will tell me about...
