Well thanks guys.. I was not sure this thread was interesting to anyone.
All I can say at this moment is, I really like this GPS over all others I have used or seen.
Something I am missing on this one though. I just may have not found it. When I tapped on the vehicle it told you the location...
Update: On My New RV760...
Well I took my RV760 on a trip with the trailer today. In the RV mode it was great. I am even more impressed with this GPS.
Not sure I can tell you all the things that popped up but they all were great. On my old 465t if I needed to take the two left lanes to...
Thanks Dave. Yes the question was "if alone" how do you check your trailer lights.
I understand using flashers and signals by walking back. I was wondering how others went about doing this. As with Roy I could use a board to press the brake pedal. I could do that.... Also if your signal...
I was just wondering, if you are by yourself and you want to take your trailer somewhere how do you check to see if your trailer lights are working.

Trying to keep the caulking good on the trailer. I go out and buy a tube of Caulk apply some to the trailer. I have tried everything from using 10P nails to some of the Black caps you can purchase from HD or Lowes.
What method do you use.

Re: ATF: Bighorn - Upgrading Tires
I ran Michelin XPS Ribs on my 2008 Bighorn for many years. I was over weight on the tires even though they ran real well. In December of last year I changed to 17.5" rims and GY C114. So far no problems. So you can get an idea of the difference here is a...
I just purchased the RV760. So far I really like it. It has some great features and some of them really surprised me.
I started a thread on it and plan to update it as I learn more about the RV760. I still have my 465t which looks like it will be on the shelf for a backup in the future.
One...
Sorry about the problems. Remember order one through Garmin and tell them you are going to replace your old Garmin #### with the RV760. You will likely get a discount. I got $110 back.
Be nice and sweet talk Ms Santa Clause.

I agree with the Long Bed. Otherwise everything else should be good. I have a SRW F250 and have no problem. Many prefer a DRW truck for stabilization.

This one has campgrounds in it. Don't know how many or how accurate but they are there. Also as I said above you can make shortcuts to search quickly for any subject you might want.
I am going to take some photos of the screen to show what the screens look like.
We are leaving Amarillo on...
The other day I got my RV760 from Garmin. Haven't had a chance to take a long trip with it yet. We are in Amarillo TX until next Monday. Heading toward Ok City. I plan to post on this thread the things I find about this GPS.
So far I think it is real cool... (an old term from my childhood). I...
Thanks for all the comments. I talked to the neighbor who owned the Jeep. He said he did not hit my trailer and if he had he would have notified me. I believe him and he is a Texan doing work on a pipeline outside Gallup. No reason not to believe him. I can't prove who caused the damage, so just...
At first I though that something on the trailer had penetrated the side, but the edges of the hole are inward and the top edge scraping the graphic is upward from the outside. Wasn't from anything inside the slide area. There is a flat piece of steel that it looks like what ever penetrated the...
Hay Bret.. We are in Albuquerque NM heading to Melissa. Only problem is there are no campground sites available. The place we normally stay on Nov. 1 is full and getting 15 calls a day for a site. Seems like some pipeline construction is going on in Sherman TX. Wanted to go in early but so far...
I normally take a photo of the campground and our trailer at every campground. I took photos at Page AZ which was all gravel so there was not lawn mower in that area. I looked at the photos at Page and there was no damage..
The next campground was Mesa Spirit RV Resort Mesa AZ. There was no one...
Well yesterday we were getting ready to leave USA RV park in Gallup NM. When I went around to disconnect the electric I found a hole in the metal skirting on the small living room slide. Someone ran into us and fled.
I think I can replace the siding and the graphics but I sure wish...
I have had the 18k B&W since 2006 and have no problems with it. It locks and unlocks with no problems. I have seen some with different hitches using a hammer to try and disconnect. I am not demeaning any other hitches. We all have the one we like, but I am just telling what I have seen.
If I...
We are in USA RV Park in Gallup NM. While here I met Nick & Debra Millich (HOC#2119) in their Bighorn. (Couldn't find them in the members list ?????)
We had a nice discussion that I really enjoyed. Met their 3yr old Sable German Shepard. Beautiful fur girl.
They said they are heading for...
I have a different take on the bike rack on the pin box. I have a Trailair pin box. It has a flat surface on top allowing me to mount a receiver on top.
Here is a link to a thread I started when installing the receiver and bike rack. Bike Rack on Pin Box.... However I have changed the bike rack...
When I went to buy my first 5th wheel a person told me to get a diesel and a long bed. I think that was great information. In my opinion that is still good advise.
I have no problem with any 5th wheel I wish to buy. I have room for an aux. tank, room to carry additional items that I need. When...
One question I didn't see asked.. Do you leave your black tank valve open all the time when camping? If so you probably have a large build up of debris in the tank.
If you keep the tank closed while at a campground then your tank is full and needs to be dumped.
If you dump your black tank...
Well I am not a bullet head, yet. I am just learning here in my old age. I am staying with a cousin in Oregon and he is a firearms Guru. He builds them, modifies them and loads them.
I had been looking to get me a good rifle. I have never had anything more than a 12 Gage pump, 22 Ruger...
I took the inside part of the skylight out and cut a piece of the silver bubble insulation to fit the area. Then inserted the insulation up into the opening of the skylight. Put the inside part back up. It provides some insulation and blocks out the outside light.

Let me see, if you have two tires on one side and one goes flat. How much weight would now be on the one that didn't go flat. Would it be so much different if you rolled the tire on a ramp to change the deflated one?? I have seen a number of people pulling a trailer down the highway while one...
We use DirecTV on a tripod and only SD not HD. With an automatic antenna such as the one mentioned above it is easy to use. I think there are two antennas of that type. One needs DC as well as a cable for the signal to the receiver. I believe another just needs the cable to the receiver.
I use...
Back in Compatibility mode
Return key is working.
This programing thing is getting to be a real problem. I have been on the Garmin Forum talking with the folks that are building BaseCamp. This is a new program to make routes on the computer and upload them to the GPS. They have stopped using...
I have the Compatibility mode turned off and it does not work... I also found in the Compatibility I can not use my cursor arrow down key to scroll down but can when it is turned off... Bake to Compatibility mode.... BC
In 2006 Pat & I took Dick Reed's driving school. I believe it is owned by someone else now so it is now called RV Driving School. Jerry was our instructor. One of the things he taught us was what Gary posted. First check all areas around the site you are backing into.
If you have something in...
Re: Return key does not work here...
Ok.. that helped.. I clicked on the Compatibility icon and the return key now is working..
Seee.... LOL
I appreciate all of your response's. I have used Chrome and I really don't like it. One, it will not capture rows and columns so they can be used into...
Return key does not work here...
While making a post I found out that when I press the return key the cursor does nothing. It does not return to the left margin. I went to different forums and have no problem. I did change from IE8 to IE10 but that doesn't make any difference anywhere else...
Here are some photos of a day trip we took at West Glacier. The map shows the road we drove where I took these photos. I took 280 pictures these are the better ones.
Hope you have fun.

I don't think they have "Red Max Pro" any more. I could not find it at Home Depot or Lowe's.
However the Zep Finish I put on my trailer cost about $60 and the finish is still good. I did it in December of last year. I just washed the trailer and the bugs come off the front very easily. I do...
