We have a 2018 427RW and our big slide is hydraulic. Our bedroom slide is electric. At the top of the page is a "Tools" section. In that area you can find information on the slides. If you cannot work on these, it will at least give you information on how these slides function, before you talk...

    2020 4007 Leak Follow-up

If you pull an A/C unit, replace the gasket. Don't re-use the gasket you pull. Use care when installing the new gasket. The gasket should be compressed to about 1/2 of the normal size.

Sorry to hear about that. That is about normal with warranties on these rigs.

    Dicor Roof

Because the roof is installed at the factory, not Dicor. The individuals working at the factory probably have not been trained by Dicor, so the technique used that day to install could be different than wanted by Dicor. Dicor does not any control over how the material is installed at all of the...

winterize 5th wheel when NOT using it for 9 months

For the small cost and little bit of time, takes allot of concern off the mind. I would go ahead and winterize it with the RV antifreeze.

Why the concern for 3rd A/C?

We have 3 Soft Starts on our A/C units. We can/have run all 3 units at one time, no issues.

Van using a lot of Power

How is the battery in the RV? If you put a load on it, is it still okay? Running the 12VDC overnight would probably be the Co detector and radio, what is on overnight? If the battery in the RV is not hooked to the 120VAC panel and just 12VDC, check the battery in the RV. The converter in the RV...

The inverters are wired as one to each leg in the breaker box. We can run 2-A/C units at once and have...

    Pioneer DS320 2022

Usually, the low points are red and blue, hot & cold water. You may need to open each and see if hot/warm water comes out of one of these. Also, the freshwater tank should have a valve on it for draining.

    Pioneer DS320 2022

The low point drains should be red & blue lines with a valve on the end of these. If there is a single blue line, maybe white line, with a valve on the end, it could be the drain for your freshwater tank.

No outside storage keys for 2019 Cyclone

Could be a couple of different keys. On our 2018 Road Warrior it was R001. Sometimes the keys can be CH751. If you have a friend with a RV, try their key to see if one works so you know which to buy. I would go with the R001 first. Do you know if the previous owner changed locks?

2016 Mallard M32 exterior lighting question

You will need an access point from the inside, on both sides of the rig. Maybe try to run the wires under the rig and up thru the bottom of the front cap. But I have not seen any access points to the front cap. Behind the front cap is insulation for the front of the rig. Probably the best would...

Both slide and awning do not work!

Near the battery is a row of small automobile style breakers. Some of these are manual reset and others are auto-rest style. These can be covered with a red color boot. Check each and see if any of these are tripped.

    Norcold - Propane Use

Circumstances can change the amount of time you have for battery power. Other items will draw the time for battery power down. Outlets that work when not hooked up to shore power

To operate from the batteries, the answer would depend on if there is an "inverter" installed in the rig. The inverter takes the 12VDC from the batteries and inverters it to 120VAC. If no inverter is installed, then the answer is "no". For the generator, as stated above, the generator will...

Is the remote hard-wired or battery operated? Check here first for power. Check batteries, voltage if hardwired, if okay go to the ceiling fan. If everything is working fine, start troubleshooting at the fan. Using a voltmeter check for voltage there.

New owner Torque26 Heartland Toyhauler re: salon fan

Not sure if the fan is 120 VAC or 12 VDC electrical power, but thinking it is 12VDC. Going with this, find your breaker panel (120VAC), near it should be another panel (12VDC). This panel has fuses in it for 12VDC operation. If a red light is on in this panel, that indicates a blown (bad) fuse.
