Im having a hard time reaching my hitch lock and am looking into getting one of those foldable steps to put on the drivers side of my Seirra. I was all set to buy an amp brand step but while looking on etrailers website i see they dont sell them. They do sell another that i actually like better...
I would definitely get figured out what valves are for what but in the meantime theres no "wrong" way to do it. The whole points just to empty your tanks so whatever accomplishes that works. Most people, myself included dump there black tanks first then the grey.
Alot of the sprayliner places are doing colors now to. The right place should be able to fix you up with something that will look nicer than the traditional black you always see. Also as a previous poster said look into a rock sheild for your truck. I'd get a set of rock tamers or something similar.
I would think yes it definitely could. I work for a pipeline utility and we've had safety classes on I believe they call it voltage transients. We have some pipelines that have high voltage power lines that parallel them so equipment like dozers, excavators, things like that are susceptible to...
Thats how I've always hooked them up.

Funny Im a 16yr veteran volunteer fireman and past asst chief and I've never nor have i told any of the men to ever pull the meter. Maybe its a city thing. I've never had any complications or delays in fighting a fire waiting for the...
If you will run in conduit you'll want to use 6gauge stranded thhn. If no conduit I would use 6gauge UF. Thhn is individual wires that would need run in conduit, most likely grey pvc ent. UF is underground cable all wires in a single protective sheath.
My black valve on my sundance used to do the same thing, what was going on was the top part of the valve that clamps onto the cable, the cable would slip inside the plastic knurls which in turn only allowed the valve to partially open. I tried tightening the screws but that made it very...
Yep, thats about right. Welcome to the world of RV's. When worked installing telephone systems years ago we use the exact stuff you are describing, its called wire mold and most big box stores will have it.
Just did! They told me yes they're fully aware that the units had problems and it will be covered 100% parts and labor, they recommended i take it back to my dealer for diag/replacement. I asked wether or not they got the known problem resolved and she says they did, guess we'll see. I would...
my compressor is starting, theres just no refrigerant left to pump. Its lost its charge again so I' ll need a new unit. My question is sinse its under dometics 3yr warranty but out of the Heartland warranty will someone cover the labor or will i be stuck with it?
So my dometic A/C failed for the second time in as many years! It was replaced 6mnths after we purchased our sundance and once again its blowing warm air. It really ticks me off as we HAD reservations at a great ACOE campground this weekend and with temps in the middle 80's and a 8mnth old baby...
So I installed the new dorman motor i got from amazon and it works great, definitely faster retracting than before. Now if this one craps out on me I'll be in a jam though as theres no longer a manual overide but for $30 I'll chance it. I may see how it works and just get another one for a spare.
I actually work in the driftwood/sinemahoning area so i take it for granted but it really is a spectacular area. I usually camp at the bennezette store campground when we go because im one of those people who cant stand to drive up a dirt road with my rig, lol....
So i finally got a chance to look further into the problem with my awning. I have taken multiple voltage readings at the motor, switch, even directly from the circuit breaker that feeds the awning switch and while extendibg the awning i have 13.2v but when i try to retract i only have around 12...
Yes, you pop off a cap and theres a 7/16" nut that will SLOWLY retract or extend the awning. Biggest issue i had was on my fiver its high enough it can only be reaced with a step ladder.
I totally agree with verizons fees but im stuck as they are the only company with coverage were i work. I'm paying just south of $200 a mnth for 8gb for two iphones and one ipad. I'd love to tell verizon to pound salt but until some competion come into my VERY rural area I'm the one with high...
So the awning on my Sundance has always been very slow to retract but always did. Saturday I was at home and decided to put out the awning to let it "air out" while i puttered around the hous. Opened cabinet, hit switch and nothing. Climbed up on ladder and pulled wires off motor and had voltage...
If I didn't get such a good deal on the new goodyears I would've went with maxxis. I would say if you need tires right now get the maxxis, by the time there wore out maybe there will be some feedback about the endurance tires.
I put a new set of Endurance tires on my Sundance XLT fiver this season but only have around 500 miles on them so far. Time will only tell how they'll be but my trailer guy said they are supposed to be a great tire. Guess we'll see.
