Air ride 5th wheel hitch with quick connect/disconnect Ford plate adapter.
I used this with my 40' 5th wheel and loved it. Takes away the jamming and rough ride over bumps and freeway expansion joints. About 300 lbs. but well worth the extra weight.
Look it up and read what others say...
Selling our Hensley TS3. Rated for 20k pounds. Great hitch and served us well over the years. Always covered when not in use. Original cost was over $2800. Asking $1800. I also have an adapter for an F350 Ford puck system available for an extra $350. PM me if interested.
I will trade for an SUV or truck that can be "flat towed". If your value is not at ours, then cash comes our way. 38'- Landmark (Grand Canyon) Luxury 5th wheel. 2012 Excellent condition. PM for more info/photos. Send year/photos of what you have to trade.
This 2012 Heartland Landmark is a luxury fifth wheel with the Grand Canyon floor plan/trim. Perfect for full-timing or extended trips. Four-season construction (zero-degree tested) with the Yeti Cold Weather package (heated underbelly with heating pads on tanks). Sleeps 4. Two owners and never...
We should be able to make the potluck. We will bring a 3-bean salad and a dessert. Country Side is the best Bar-B-Que around these parts. We had lunch there today and probably 2-3 times a week. Rob and his family run a great business. You won't be disappointed with the food. If you need...
Hayden and Gigi, we really enjoyed meeting and spending time with ya'll. We got home from Dillard and looked at our calendars and saw we can not camp the NC Rally weekend. However, let us know when the potluck is and how much we need to contribute. We will see if we can at least make that...
Paul and Sue, GREAT Rally! We really enjoyed meeting everyone and losing quarters. FYI, my HOC# is 4137. We are planning to meet with yall again next May in Dillard. See you soon, Cliff and Sharon McLarty

Sharon and I (Cliff) McLarty will be joining y'all on the 23 and leaving the 26th. We are only a couple hours from the site (Marion, NC) and we NEED to get away. lol We are in site K5. Looking forward to meeting like-minded rvers.
We are stepping up to a Prevost and in the process of selling our Grand Canyon. Have loved this unit and it is still in top-notch shape. I have it listed on RVTrader at: https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2012-Heartland-LANDMARK+GRAND+CANYON-5016927834/?cmp=email_rv_paa_posted. Please pass the...
Nabo, Sharon and I were so looking forward to this, our first, Rally. However, with school and daycares closed in our town, we have been recruited by our children to watch the grandchildren during this eventful time. Sharon has even been working on her Derby Hat. Oh well, such is life. Let...
NOT to be a splash of water on this party that is about to happen, BUT. Has there been any thought to the gathering and the coronavirus? I want to be at the rally as much as the next person, but I also want everyone to be safe. Many of us (I'm speaking of my wife and me) are in the "senior"...
'Lil Guy' : Since this will be our first rally BUT PARROT HEADS from way back, what should we wear? Coconut bras and grass skirts or just fins? lol
Really, is this a BYOB, cash bar, mix your own and bring or what? I am all in on this one. Even my name says: Keywestwego......Thanks

I used to drive big trucks and whoever told you that is correct.
A BIG Thanks to all replies.
Fox: Yes, it's a dually. And I have a list of all the states that reciprocate the NC CWP. Thanks
All this makes me feel a lot better knowing the "new to me" truck will take on the Rockies with no problem. My middle name is "safety and slow" when in the...
LOL....I was thinking of a business class but alas, no. I was thinking this 2017 would have plenty of "goose" to get over the Big Hills, but wanted other input. I tend to be the one everyone else is passing when going up or down a long hill. Drove "big trucks" for awhile and learned about...
I just upgraded from a 2006 F350 King Ranch to a 2017 F350 Lariat w/ 4.10 rear end. Has anyone put a chip in this year truck and if so, which one? Why? We pull a 40' Landmark at 15,000# and headed to the Rockies next year. The truck pulls the Eastern mountains with no strain BUT the Rockies...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Regional Rally: SC, Charlestion - 4/30/2020 to 5/3/2020
The tour, probably not. We visit Charleston quite a bit. As a matter of fact, I am leaving in about an hour for Charleston (NAVY--USS Saratoga CV60 Reunion)!!!
BUT, the Low Country Boil we would be interested in...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Regional Rally: SC, Charlestion - 4/30/2020 to 5/3/2020
This will be our first Rally with the Heartland group since our Landmark purchase. Looking forward to getting to know other owners.
We just returned home from a September trip (5 weeks) and loved it. See y'all in...
Update to Update......
After we learned about our "frame flex" issue, I had to get a new knee (recovery) then rehab a rental house of ours....blah, blah, blah....time!
This past weekend I pulled the front skin off and found the following weld breaks. (photos) Since Heartland didn't even as...
UPDATE on my issue.......
Over two weeks ago I called Heartland for "help" on the issue I have and what I have learned is frame flex.
1. No return call from anyone!
So, I am going to have a master welder beef up my front end and chalk it up to a lesson learned. The previous owners says they...
Will do.
First photo is with weight on hitch (3/4" gap at center of curve). Second photo is with weight on front supports lifted off hitch (1/8" gap at center of curve). I also noticed buckeling on the front panel and there is a crack now. Ugh.
Just pulled into our driveway and noticed this. What has happened?
Can I fix it and what search do I do to find someone more knowledgeable than I to look at how to do the repair.
This is on a 2012 Landmark we just purchased in Jan. '18.
If I didn't have bad luck.....you know the rest.....
I sent in my Heartland Owners Club application over 3 weeks ago and still nothing.
I understand changing a system of operations is sometimes overwhelming but geeee, 3 weeks?
