I too had the assembly pull loose on one side. Tore right off the wall on the left side on my Landmark bedroom slide. I had it repaired and the mobile tech put thin plywood in the center where the cable dead ends pass each other. He thought they may have hung up on each other causing the one...
Other than the sub floor problem, seals wear out as do brakes and Heartland doesn’t make water heaters. My seals average maybe 6 months and I replace them. Did you ever treat the seals with anything? A lot of problems are caused by rough roads, trailer tires not being balanced etc.!

Here is one I made for the stove in our LM
after seeing one similar at one of our rallies. Thanks to our wood shop here at Voyager in Tucson!

We added a second handrail to our ‘17 LM Newport that I believe we ordered on Amazon. I added it on the cabinet opposite the existing one on the half bath wall. My wife had a broken leg and then a knee replacement and needed help getting up and down the stairs to the bedroom. I could take a...
At some point I’ll have to put my B&W Companion hitch in the garage. But I have a small SUV, golf cart, Washer & Dryer, fridge & freezer and various large fused glass work tables and two recumbent trikes in the way so not much floor space. The LM is stored 5 minutes away outside and the hitch is...
Hey Gary, we are full time Arizonans since August. Just registered the LM here, more than it was in California, but the truck was cheaper, go figure!

Just be careful when cleaning where mice have been because they can carry hantavirus. Make sure to wear a mask and wipe things down with bleach and then put traps etc out!

We’re in a sort of similar situation. We’ve been here in our covered RV site in Tucson since November and aren’t traveling at the moment. With rates being so low, 2.8%, we have purchased a 1300 sf home here at our resort. The park models here are just a little too small for our needs. Once the...
It was the filters, which I should have checked when I thought about it at the start of this process. It had been 9 months since I’d installed them so 2 of them were overdue for replacement. The iron filter still has some time left I think. Thanks for everyone’s help!

I shut off the water, let off the pressure and removed the gauge. Spun the Andersen valve around to city again to see if it was misaligned and nothing changed. I have the new A valve body that I received from Heartland awhile back. I guess I’ll install that. Don’t know what else to try!

I did check it yesterday with a different regulator and it read 40-50 before and after the filters. I’ll run the shower with the regulator out of the line and see if it makes a difference!

Hi folks:
I’m hooked to city water here in our park in Tucson. We have a soft water system for our shed, W/D and the trailer. From the spigot it goes to a 3 filter system mounted on the inside wall of my storage compartment and then into the UDC where it runs thru the pressure gauge and into...
On my 2015 F350 I started getting check engine lights. This was at about 95k miles. Took it to the local diesel shop, they said the filter needs cleaned, go to Ford. Ford said we don’t clean them you need to replace it. How much? $3500. I went to a shop that cleans them and they charged $900...
What Nabo said. Damp Rid or any similar product. We have two humidifiers and used them when we lived in Tennessee but now in AZ the humidity normally is very low. We lived in Crossville and the humidity wasn’t too bad compared to Knoxville or Nashville maybe because we were on the Plateau...
If you’re pin weight is 25% you’re overloaded. Dually all the way for me. I have extra payload for safety, 5700 but pin weight is 4000 on 18k GVWR, maybe 350 in the truck bed!

We got rid of our Pathway. It never seemed to work consistently. Even sent it back to Wineguard and they said it was fine. We bought a second tailgater to have two dishes on the road so we could watch different satellites from the bedroom and living room. The new tailgater works better then the...
Hey Garry, I hope you and the Aussie girls are doing good. Unfortunately Linda and I are going to have to cancel for Albuquerque. She’s still waiting on her knee replacement surgery and obviously hasn’t been able to have it done lately. It’s looking like it may not be till July or August so the...
On the Newport the KIB panel is located in the closet on the right as you go up the stairs to the bedroom behind that small shelf. The only reason I know is that a fellow Newport owner was revamping that closet and found it after removing that shelf. He relocated it the right side of the closet...
It’s been a great ride!
I second their sentiments Jim. Pleasure meeting you & Nancy along the way the last three years and for your help when I’ve asked and all your support to this great group of folks. Hope to see you down the road and hope your new home build goes well in Texas!

I heard he was in the hospital awhile back and then today heard he’d passed. Met him at a rally many years ago and had seen him again a few years back! Rest In Peace ‘RV Doctor’!

Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: TN, Crossville - 8/28/2020 to 8/30/2020
I wish we were able to travel and attend the rally in our former home town. Dang!
Enjoy, friends!

We have the Davey Crockett too and love it. We did a giant brisket for New Years and had 2 bites left to bring home!

Hi Rod & Kelly: Sorry to say Linda and I won’t be able to attend the Redmond Rally this time around due to Linda’s ongoing health issues. Doesn’t make sense to travel with her not being able to get around well. She’s hoping to have her knee replaced towards the end of the year depending on what...
The ‘D’ seals on my Landmark are AP and they only last a few months. I’m getting a little tired of replacing them so often. I’ve had the slides checked to make sure they’re functioning correctly and they are. It’s both the top seals and maybe one on each side of the two large slides every time...
That’s cheap. My DEFilter went out and the fed emissions warranty was 8 years, 80k miles on my 2015 F350. I had 98k on it and my extended warranty didn’t cover it. Cost $3200 and $300 to install. I tried to have it cleaned prior and paid $900 for a special shop that does that exclusively. They...
Never seen a SRW with that much payload. Seems a little light for a LM if you’re pin weight is 4K like mine. Once you put fuel and hitch and people you’re at the top and nothing left for safety room. My ‘15 F350 has 5660 scaled payload so I have some extra for safety sake!

We have the California King Sleep number in our LM, not a tilt though. We can’t put the bedroom slide all the way in without lifting up the mattress and putting pillows underneath it for travel due to the length since it hangs off the platform several inches and we deflate it also prior to...
Must run in the family. We have replaced one front landing jack and a slide-out cylinder on our LM 365 as well. Knock on wood, all good since then!
