We have a BC 3650 and after draining all the tanks and using the black power flush for 20 minutes, we dropped a chemical packet down the toilet with 5 gallons of water. Everytime we use the toilet we get a sewer smell when we flush. Is there a chance that the vent pipe could be blocked or...
Wow - great idea. Setting up a sewing/quilting/embroidery room in the toy hauler garage.
That would be something I would consider if we lived full-time in the RV.
Right now I think I'm not willing to give up my living space.
I bet my hubby would want me to share the garage with his motorbike.
Yes, that and you said that they were in the new Gold edition. We don't have a Gold edition but
we do have a 2012 that has a water heater without an anode rod so does that mean we have this one?
Thanks Bryan. Does this mean that it takes 12 gallons of water to fill the tank but will recover 19.8 gallons per hour?
Would that mean that if we practically drained the tank using a shower that it would recover a full 12 gallons of water
heated in about 40 minutes?
I was looking through the Heartland 5th wheel information on the website and it says that all the 5th wheels have a 12 gallon water heater except for the Big Country that has a 20 gallon. Is this correct? That seems awfully large.
TIA, Joy
Quite often I take a sewing/embroidery machine with me when spending time in the RV to work on some quilt projects. It is much easier if we will be planted at a park for more than a day or two as once I get everything set up - I take up a lot of space. LOL Just wondered if there are others out...
Is there anyone with the same rig who has drained their hot water tank for winterizing?
We removed the outside cover and then removed the plastic bolt at the bottom and there was no Anode Rod. ???
We have always had an Anode Rod in our other rigs so are a little confused with this.
Thanks for...
Thanks! We have had other 5ers over the last 20 years but nothing as nice as this one. :) We just love this rig! I just wish we were able to go south this winter and spend more time in it.
Hi Brandon & Kelli
We have been away for a couple of weeks this time and with it much colder now - we are using the fireplace a lot more and it seems to be working a lot more regularly. Maybe it just needed to be broken in. My hubby was in heaven when he saw all the remotes that came with this...
Thanks Nathan & Byrd. We love to use the fireplace but it's frustrating when it only 'sometimes' work.
Will add it to the list when it goes in for service.
Thanks Dave.
The fireplace is frustrating because I have adjusted the thermostat and it still 'sometimes' comes on and 'sometimes' doesn't.
Sometimes the remote works and sometimes it doesn't - almost like a tempermental child.
Hubby will take some time again to find the ice maker shut off...
Hi all,
We have used our new rig for 3 weeks now and love it but have found a few little problems. I love the fireplace but it sometimes won't turn on ???
We read that it has an overheat sensor but after being off all night - it wouldn't turn on in the morning. About an hour later I tried and...
