Many of use the level up to raise the unit for changing tires. Personally I leave it hooked to the truck but it's not necessary. Heartland doesn't recommend it for liability reasons.
I have used a buddy heater for years. Never cracked a window. There is enough air leakage in these rv's you won't need to. Generally run it on low because high made it too warn.
I use to tow with a srw. Read many post stating "if you ever towed with a dually you would never go back to single." I thought they were eaggerating . I bought a drw because it was 2 inches lower but found out it was not an exaggeration. Dually towing is so much more stable. You don't feel...
Damaged the finder skirt. I was surprised it didn't do more damage. Probably because I was slowing down to enter the rest area. The tread belt stayed intact which also helped. Tires had about 30,000 miles on them. Still had lots of tread.
On my way to the Mississippi rally an my 5 year old Sailun blew out. Tire pressure monitor didn't alert so it didn't lose air. I had just taken the cruise control off to pull into a rest area when it blew. The tread stayed enact but the sidewalls were destroyed. Waited 2 and 1/2 hours for road...
I found that Firestone Transforce had poor traction on wet roads. On wet pavement I had to really ease the throttle down or the tires would spin. This was on a single rear wheel towing a 34 foot 5er.
Just made reservations for the rally. We'll arrive on 14th and depart on the 16th. Will be in site 31. HOC number 2215.

I did that in ours. I removed the board the mattress sets on and cut it down. Next removed the bed platform from the wall and disassembled one corner at the foot. Be careful and study how it's assembled and you can reassemble it after cutting it down so it doesn't show any saw marks.Next I cut...

I have both. Thought the flow through would be nice BUT they don't work. I can't get air to go through them so I have to remove them anyway. I have removed the security caps off the others for use on my dually.
A 6 year old trailer should have the bugs worked out of it by now. I have a 2012 Big Country and had a host of problems when it was new, but now it seems to be trouble free.
Joyce and I have tickets for Bass Pro's "Wonders of Wildlife museum and Aquarium" in Springfield. They are for Wednesday May 9th. If any one else is interested we'll be leaving Branson around 8 AM. Tickets for seniors are $35.85 per person for the combo, that is both the wildlife galleries and...
Sometimes its hard to get the pump to prime. Try opening all the faucets then turn on the pump. Let it run until all faucets are flowing freely. You have to get all the air out of the system. Hope this works for you.
If it turns, it needs to be balanced. I put balance beads in my Saliun tires and it seems to be working fine. They were balanced with weights first but one tire had 4 or 5 weights on one side. I didn't like that so we removed all weights and used balance beads. Big rigs use these beads.
I too replaced the king with a queen. We wanted to upgrade the mattress and gain more room around the bed. I modified the storage under the bed also to keep the toe room along side the bed. It was a very easy mod and looks like it came from the factory this way. I also removed the television...
There was a thread earlier about this very thing. Nearly everyone with Saliun tires was experiencing this. It was the conscience of the group that it is caused by the turning and dragging the tires sideways. Mine are doing the same thing. Don't think it is a problem.
80 psi might not meet your needs for capicity. They would also be under inflated causing wear on the outside edges of the tire. Your tire salesman just wanted to make a sale. He didn't have your best interest at heart.
Heartland is probably no better or worse than any other brand. They all have quality problems. You will not find many negative comments on this forum because they are discouraged but there are people I know of who have gotten rid of their Heartlands and said they will never have another one...
