Just noticed a hairline crack on the front of our MPG. It is about thee inch's long and barely noticeable at this time. Have viewed some comment on Forum that suggested drilling a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from spreading. Should I do this or just monitor it for the time being.

Hate it when I press the wrong button. I used velcro to attach the insect screen to the bottom of the unit but have not attached the sides of the Dome. I know that others have used suction cups and/or epoxied snaps to the sides of the unit. How did you attach your Dome. Thanks John

Marc, Had the same issue with the rear window on my 181. Spoke with a Tech. at the dealership and was told to remove the gasket beyond the first corner and stretch the gasket sufficently to fill the gap as you replace it. I've had to do this a couple of times. John

Has anyone added a water filtration system to an mpg travel trailer? I'm planning a trip to Alaska by way of the Al-Can Highway next summer and have a little concern with water at some of the out of the way places that I want to visit. jearnest

We averaged 14 pulling MPG180 (not loaded) from Bosie, ID to California, usually get 18 - 20 (2003 Ford Explorer) without trailer. Last trip out to Joshua Tree Park, we averaged 13 - 14 with light load in MPG.

Purchased mpg in late April. Have only had it out twice since purchase. Always turn the tanks off prior to stopping to gas up at service stations otherwise the fridge is running on propane.
