I posted my Heartland MPG for sale in the MPG community forum and it was closed 'per forum rules'. I then read through the forum rules and reposted it in the forum classified section. Again it was closed. So what am I missing about the rules that my post keeps getting closed? Thanks.

Ours is white with green graphic, has the night blinds, unpainted fenders, and LP water heater. I think they made about 4 models, some had extras and some had few. Hard to know now.

After lots of debate and back and forth, we have decided to sell our MPG183 and get something bigger. We are in west Texas but spending a couple weeks in the great southwest. This model has the bunk beds and a slide. $12,500 josh@atroxtrailers.com

does anyone know a number count on the MPG? Would be curious to know how many were made.

Somewhere around Terlingua/Big Bend, Alpine, Ft Davis, etc would be a good place too. I am stunned at how many native Texans have never see that area.

I have run water in both sinks and poured some in the shower drain. As far as the stool...aka toilet? Yes, about an inch.

We used it about three weeks ago. Everything was cleaned after the last trip. I drop in one of those toilet Bio...somethings when we finished the trip. Cant seem to find the root.

John, Not sure about the ebay dome tent. I think I saw one on there and it does look the same if the pictures were currect. The past two times we used ours, i sent it up myself, since the wife was wrangling kids. Be sure to have a ladder, step stool or I use a 5 gal bucket since I always forget...

We stayed at the Lost Alaskan in Alpine, Tx. which is really home to us. So we know about the March winds. Just havent done it with a TT.

Okay, The tow vehicle is a nissan armada, full size, V8 5.6L. I have weight distribution and sway control. The wind was 20-25mph and probably gusts that exceeded that from time to time. For the most part it town just fine. I could see when the trees or grasses would lay down more due to wind...

We took our two boys, (ages 5 and 3) out to west Texas over spring break. We all had a great time camping in the MPG. It seems to get blown all over the road if it is windy. I assume it is becasue it is so light weight.

Here is ours. Sets up fairly eay with two people. We just used it this past weekend out in west Texas and the winds were a little much for it.

Marc515 If you can do any kind of plumbing...you could probably make anything work. Here is the one i used because it was only $60 and had a long neck.

Bought at HomeDepot. I wanted a single lever instead of the separate hot and colds. So i had to cut the center jole out for the water fittings. The base covers the existing holes pluse the anchor bolts go through them too. Took ten minutes.

I started a thread a while back about how close the stream of water out of the stock faucet was to the back of the sink basin. And it causes a problem when washing hands and dishes or just about anything. It was in the General Discussion section.....and now we have a NEW section! So yesterday...

Pegmikef, We liked it, but i could see it getting very crowded and loud during peak season. We tend to like the areas that aee less traveled.

Same as you. 2011 181. I dont know if they are really knock outs, but at a certain angle and light I can see were the holes would be for a faucet. The water comes out of the faucet too close to the back.

Can you tell me if you sink faucet is located on the sink or the counter top? I have found a picture of both and ours is on the counter. Is see knockouts on the sink and oues sits back too far. Water gets everywhere when washing dishes. I may relocated it. Thanks.

This morning i hooked the MPG up to a friends truck and it lit up all the running lights. I then drove my wifes Aramda to dealership and left it them to fix since they never fixed it the first time.

We driveway camped for three nights, since all the rooms were taken in Grandma's house for Thanksgivings. Ours is the 183 model and our boys, (5.5 and 2.5) love the bunk beds. Going out again in two weekends. Texas has year round camping for the most part.

We picked up out MPG this past weekend. Spent three nights in it. My sister in law towing it from Albq, NM to north Texas, and everything worked. We towed from there to Central Texas. We were 2 hours from home when night set in and when I turned on the lights, I got nothing on the trailer...

. Winterize the unit and dry-camp. Treat your mpg as a much warmer and more comfortable tent. Use the campground facilities just as you would if you were in a tent. Thing is what I was thinking we would do.

You are right....we thought about making a quick trip to NM to get it but then decided to hold out.....only 18 days until we get it!
