Eureka Yellow Jacket Issue Solved for less than $20

After finding out that this vacuum is no longer available and there are no replacement parts either, I decided to see if there was a simpler solution to the issue of not stopping or not running. The motor appears to be pretty stout but it does produce a far amount of heat. The triggering relay...

8 pt Manual Hybrid Leveling System on My 2014 Cyclone 3110

I have just completed a major, but satisfying upgrade to my Lippert front hydraulic landing gear and electric rear stabilizers. I purchased two Bigfoot Quadra Manufacturing hydraulic cylinder kits and special mounting brackets. I did not weld anything. I used 8 angle irons brackets and 32 half...

    Lippert 281281 shock kits

I installed shock kits on my 2014 Cyclone 3110. It wasn’t too bad. More tedious than difficult. I flipped the upper brackets in order to place the shocks more vertical. I had to bend the bottom plate in order to accommodate the different angle. I replaced the rubber bushings with 9.8105G end...

I really like this new pin box!

I just had this Trail Air pin box installed. The tow home was so much smoother than the last five years of towing with the original pin box. I just ordered air bag kit for the rear axle of my truck. A smoother ride will make long range traveling so much better.

    Hercules ST235/85r16 F-rated, 95 psi tires

It was about 4 years ago I purchased 5 new Hercules F-rated tires to replace the 5 blowmax E-rated tires on my 2014 Cyclone 3110. I am now going to replace these 4 F-rated Hercules tires. I now have had the second tire fail where the center belts under the tread have started to fail where the...

    Recliner sofa peeling

I have a 2014 Cyclone 3110 for a little more than 5 years. The finish on the sofas have just started peeling. It appears to be a common failure with the Lippert products. The wife wants to replace the furniture. Before I go to purchasing residential quality furniture I was wondering if anyone...

Cyclone 3110 stains on garage floor

From time to time, my golf cart will drip acid water on the garage floor staining it. This weekend I sat down and scrubbed the floor with a stiff bristle brush and clear water while sprinkling baking soda on the wet area. It will foam up until all the acid is neutralized. Using wet rags and a...

Cyclone 3110 Living Room Slide is now cooler during summer!

When we would go camping during summer months the 2 AC’s would struggle cooling the interior with the slides out. I noticed the inside of slide roofs were very warm to the touch. So I had slide toppers installed. Instant improvement in interior cooling! Also I had an awning installed over the...

Generator won't crank after installing new battery

Anyone experience this? I have been unable to trouble shoot the circuit that energizes the start switch in the cabinet or at the generator. All other 12v accessories are functioning: lights, slides, front hydraulic supports. No blown fuses that I can find. Is there something I might have...

Managed to dodge two bullets in Baton Rouge

I live in an area of Baton Rouge that received more than 32 inches of rain in 72 hours. All my neighbors for miles around me were flooded 1 to 5 feet deep in their homes. I built my home in 1992 to an elevation 3 feet above historic inundation records. When the waters rose I had 29 inches to...

A Big Thank You For Heartland!

Last month I sent a letter to Heartland because the under side lip seal under the living room slide had dropped down and was damaged by the right rear tire. The fasteners were more than 24 inches apart. Heartland sent me a new seal. I installed it today with the fasteners about 8 inches...

Deflector shield under sofa slide - 3110

We were returning home this morning after a weekend camping trip. I happened to notice a piece of rubber fly out from under the sofa slide. I stopped and the tire was ok but the end of the rubber deflector shield had dropped down onto the rear tire. It didn't take long for the tire to rub it...

    3110 Sliding Glass Door reversal

Hello all, Well I got tired of always being blocked from going to and from the garage or den when the slides are in. So I decided yesterday to reverse the position of the sliding door. It was not hard but it is a tedious job. Also be careful because the frames have very sharp corners and...

Woo Hoo! Finally got the RV Port Finished

This has been a very long project, about 9 months, stretched out in various stages. However, an excellent construction crew came yesterday morning and put up this 24' x 50' x 14' tall RV Port. I spent today cleaning up and locating all the dropped screws. I finally got the two rv's to 'bed'...

    3110 light fixture over sink

Just another heads up to all who have this fixture over their sink. The globes are made of glass and are held in place with a plastic nut. I didn't notice that one was loose. We returned home today from a weekend trip and found that one globe fell onto the sink countertop and broke into a...

    Cyclone 4200 floorplan

The wife and I stopped by Camping World to look at a 4200 yesterday. We love our 3110 but the 4200 has a great floorplan with the full bath attached to the garage. Hmmmm...maybe in a few years now that I have upgraded my towing vehicle from an F250 SRW to a F350 DRW.

ATF: Cyclone - Question for Heartland....

I have had my 2014 Cyclone 3110 just under 16 months. I have made approximately 10 previous camping trips and two warranty trips to the dealer in it with my wife. Each round trip is approximately 100 miles. I should easily have less than 1500 miles total on my Cyclone. I am very meticulus...

2014 Cyclone 3110, took delivery 8/1/13, first camping trip 8/8/13

I am towing this rv with a 2010 F250 Super Duty Lariat. I have had excellent service from my F250 for nearly 4 years. I was pulling a 32' Pilgrim travel trailer. It was quite intimidating hitching up to this toyhauler but it pulled great and handled very well. Fuel mileage is around 10.3 mpg...
