Thought I would give an update on solving my snowy cable connection to the main TV. The splitters for cable and satellite were both located behind the fabric panel above the entertainment center where the surround sound speakers are located. Each has a 4 way splitter, utilizing 1 input and 3...
Thanks for the quick answer. Where did you find the splitter for the cable connection? Only place I can think of is behind the surround sound dvd player at the entertainment center. It is the only opening into the wall that I know of.

Understand what you are saying. But...
I have the same issue with my main tv. All other tv's work great on cable, except main tv. Did you ever get this resolved. Would love to know the solution.
I received one from Heartland under warranty. It is easy to remove from channel, but leaves behind old adhesive that takes some work to remove. The new roll will have the 3m adhesive and simply rolls into the channel. It must be cut between the dots. Also, mine had a small blade fuse where it...
There is a fuse in line where the lights attach to the trailer wiring in the awning arm. I had to replace it. LED strip was bad as well. Heartland sent me the strip under warranty. Can't imagine the strip is very expensive.

Could probably tape the on button down with duct tape and secure the pole with radiator hose clamps. Only drawback I see is how heavy it would be. Looking up while working with your arms up and controlling something heavy is asking for a cervical disk aggravation. I would rather make a scaffold...
The oven pilot light will light normally. Turn dial to 350 degrees, burner lights, after 4-5 minutes the pilot light goes out, then in about 20 seconds the oven cuts off. The orifice and pilot assembly has been replaced. What next? Oven is under warranty.

Got the Road Warrior back! New AC units, new roof, and ladder brackets installed. I am a happy camper! Back where she belongs!

I visited the repair shop yesterday. The roof and A/C's have been stripped. The rubber came off with no damage to the underlayment, sigh of relief there. New rubber was laid out on the top unfolding and relaxing. This shop seems very customer oriented. I spoke with the technician, and he seems...
Glad you have dodged the bullet on roof replacement. I have to wonder what the long term effects are from this oil on the EPDM membrane? For Dometic to accept the cost of roof replacement, I have to think that the exposure is not good, and may pose issues down the road a few years. That is my...
Well, I got a call from the RV repair dealer today and was floored. He said Dometic has approved the replacement of both A/C units and the entire roof on the RV. He said they are oing to send an engineer down to look at the units after the fact. Dealer said he had never seen this in his 20 years...
Repair facility is pushing the rusty screw scenario. What did youhave them send to analyze? Any specific contacts at Dometic and Heartland I should talk to?
I dropped off the RW305 at a local dealer last week where I had set up an appointment about 2 weeks prior. They said they would call me in a couple days on status. Called there yesterday, he says it won't be until some time next week when he can look at it. I asked why I had set up an...
I am taking it in today to have the A/C units tested and roof inspected, oven looked at, and the ladder brackets added per the recall. Had a hard time finding anyone that would do warranty work. The oven lights and comes up to temp., and as the large burner cuts back the pilot light begins...
I was able to stand a ladder up to the side of the unit and hold my phone up to the vents in the cover and take a picture of the model and serial numbers. I used a 12' one piece ladder.

Thanx Randy, good to know. Don't relish the thought of them replacing roof, but they have done it on others, so maybe the oil in Dometics made in china is a problem. Can't imagine a plant in china using newer, safer oils. Whatever is cheaper seems more likely.
Thanks for the info. Not sure I want the roof replaced. It has not leaked at all to this point. I don't trust people working on my stuff. Replacing AC units scares me enough, as they have worked fine as well. But, if they are leaking oil it is only a matter of time before the fail, so I am OK...
Talked to Heartland CS today. Never heard of problem. There's a surpise. Said to call Dometic. Dometic says never heard of problem. Another surprise there. Units are still under warranty. Next step, need to get inspected at certified shop. Here are some pics of my staining. Looks same as posted...
Dan,
Thanks for the info. I have a 2015 RW 305 with 2 Dometic AC units and my roof is stained from both units. Looks like just like the picture posted. I plan to contact Heartland CS.

If you KNOW it's not moisture, screw it down and rubber patch over it. But what else would cause delamination, especially near a bathroom vent, might be wortha look see.

I had Heartland send me a new roll of trim under warranty. Has been there two years and no further issues. I think they had some from a supplier that shrinks with heat and caused the problem.

LED strip on rear side awning mysteriously went out. A few lights went out, then the whole strip went out slowly from right to left. Heartland sent me a new strip under warranty. To test, I plugged the new strip in and nothing. Scratched my head for a bit and found a 2 amp fuse under the snap on...
Only thing nasty than can leak out of an ac unit is compressor oil. They must have felt that the oil would deteriorate the rubber on the roof. Not sure of the chemistry of compressor oil and R34 refrigerant, or whatever it is nowadays, but good that they are replacing roof. Good suggestions to...
AC cycling could depend on temp setting. If too low, no cycling.
Fender one slide not flush is normal, weird looking, but normal.
Stains from condensate, normal.
Auto level has calibration procedure in manual.
Jack bleeding down, not normal.

I use the Baxley Sport Chock. Very sturdy and stable. I have a 10 foot garage, so I put a 2x4 flat on floor up against front wall to keep things away from the sliding door. Just butt the chock up the the 2x4 centered in between mounting plates and tie down with two ratchet straps through center...
The leds on my small awning blinked once or twice then went out from back to front like someone running their finger down a piano keyboard. Called Heartland and they sent me a new strip. Unplugged old and plugged in new strip before installing. No light. Went to switch in garage, power there and...
I have had very few and minor issues. Unit has been solid and reliable. I will say these earthquakes on wheels need proactive attention and inspection to remain reliable. This is true of all brands. You will not go wrong with a road warrior.

Tara,
I have a 2015 Road Warrior RW305. Much smaller than what you are looking at. But I will say that Heartland has been very easy to deal with from a warranty perspective. I bought fr

I have a 2015 RW305. It has the gas strut on the garage side entrance door but not on the front door. Any reason why this could not be added to the front door? It is a pain going in and out when windy without it. I don't understand the small plastic stay to keep the door fully open. There is no...
I use a Baxley Sport Chock. Very sturdy, and is used in garage at home to park bike. I put a length of 2x4 down on the floor (width of garage) up against the back of the sliding glass door, just to space the chock away a bit. Butt the chock up to the 2x4, drive bike in. You can then get off and...
I had bounce issues until I installed air bags on the truck. They eliminated the multi bounce almost entirely. Std pinbox and does not chuck a lot.
