Ordered 5 Sailuns 2 days ago with Simple Tire. Just received them today with date codes just a few months old. Not bad as nobody in town carried them in stock.

Got mine from Heartland. Not too terrible. Just add up all lengths and you will cut to length when you receive it.

What Jim just said. Great people to talk with. They will even preprogram the components when you buy from them. I am very happy with my Victron setup

Our cyclone fireplace needed checking. I found the fascia around the sides and top slide up with a few bumps from your hand. Once the fascia is off you will see 4 screws to pull it out.
Hope this helps

2016 Ford F-350 with Carli 2.5” leveling kit. Half pack kit for the rear springs so the main overload is not there just a lot of tapered smaller thinner springs. King pin top with reservoir shocks. Cyclone 3513 with about 3k pin weight and I have torque airbags manually filled to 50 when...
Pullrite makes a 2k/20k. Used it for 8 years before selling that trailer and moving to a fifth wheel. The hitch is bullett proof and can be found from time to time used for half the cost of a Hensley.
Been here before. Played that game and won!!
Good luck

Just throwing this out there, but even on 30 amps you should be ok with the heaters. Assuming most other things are off.
Have you tried both on low or one low and one high yet? Sounds like there’s something more to the low voltage side of things....

ThreadI wanted to continue a conversation started in a ATF about people’s bedroom slide floor cracking where the rollers are creasing the coating. I ask as one end did this about 6 months ago, not the other send is about to break through a crease too.
Anyone else have this issue? Or has anyone...
I also hear a high pitched tone when the hot water heater is operating on electric only. Specifically when the heater is actually heating. Once it reaches temp, the high pitch sound shuts off.
Never caused a problem but is interesting.....

This was for good reason. Everyone with a fuel storage cell has it located back there. You do not want to capture fumes if there is even the slightest bit of vapor leakage. That would be bad.
Now if you ordered without fuel cells I’m sure you could do something more about it like insulation...
We picked up an amazon oscillating dual heat level heater. Adjustable thermostat and tip sensor. Works pretty good for $35. Just sayin

Are you talking the bedroom slide out on the drivers side? Where there are rollers under the slide and the roller has dented the black coated wood to the point of creasing is and it splits?
If so yes. We just had this happen at 2 years old. Not fun.

Awesome. I plan to do similar. Was originally scared away as full size panels don’t carry RV warranty, but you cannot say no to all of the u disturbed rooftop space.
Enjoy

Texas,
Those look like normal full size Solar Panels. Not the typical RV panel. If so, what brand are they and how are they holding up?

No specific MPPT chosen yet. Just getting my ducks in a row before I pull the trigger. Good point about the at home maintaining. We have the entire rig shut down aside from minor parasitic draws. Should be good.

Ok leading me further into questions now.. I’ve got a decent 12 converter for maintaining the batteries. The brand escapes me right now but I remember checking it out originally upon purchase. It provided the main 3 stages of battery charging. Which brings me to my next question.
If parked at...
Thank you guys. I think I will do a combination of both your replies. I was finishing up my ceiling ac registers this weekend and noticed there is no space to go through the ceiling. So near the vent is where we will have to go. It’s just going to be a pretty far run as the panels are across the...
For those who come across this same issue, I’ve taken this one step further. Our 3513 has (3) 15k ac units but with just 2 on low it always felt like there was still poor air delivery from the supply registers. Even more noticeable after the sheet metal and sealing up all the leaks.
I found...
Any chance someone with the same model has found a good location to run the PV power down from the roof?
I ask as our kitchen/refer is in the slide so the refer vent trick is out. Preferably I would like to mount the panels near the garage area as I have plenty of real estate back there.
Any...
Re: Airbags
I’ve used torque brand airbags. And are 100% satisfied with them. If you have a lifted truck try using daystar airbag cups to prevent the unloaded jarring.

Very cool. I get the reasoning why. And I did forget the obvious. GOOD JOB. There is so little recognition for those that want to do on their own these days. I feel we live in a drop off the trailer world and so many things are easily achievable on our own with just a little t me and patience...
Not trying to start anything, but where’s the isolation between the batteries and the power wiring? Thinking hydrogen off gassing?
I could be wrong. Not trying to derail the install. Just asking.

Next stop will be the transfer switch. It is behind the power cord entry in a metal can. With a rig this new I would personally have the dealer do the troubleshooting as it’s covered by them and heartland.
Sounds like now the transfer switch is not operating properly.
Random question, did it...
Just some basics. Make sure to test this with city power removed first. Then fire up. Transfer switch on our rig takes approx 15 seconds before it will power up.
I would take a look at the breakers just under the cover of the generator. May have been tripped prior to you taking ownership...
I pull a Cyclone 3513 with our 1 ton shortbed. Pullrite 24k slider handles it all day long. We’ve been doing this for 2 years now and no problems or surprises.

Going to agree with the rest. We have a 3513 and absolutely love it. But... we did not get the residential fridge. It all sounds like a power feed not making it from the generator to a fair amount of devices. Start with the breakers on the generator.
Don’t get frustrated just take it in stride...
Just wanted to thank the op for the heads up. Out of curiosity I opened up all 3 of the 15k ac units yesterday. Wow it was like last day Friday everywhere. Holes in the aluminum tape, rubber roof covering the opening, air divider from supply to return bypassing air. It was all bad!!
I took the...
From what I’ve been told. If the frame is up to it, make sure the tag trailer is nearly neutral in tongue weight. No need to be tongue heavy on the back of a trailer frame.

So long as the garage does not get too hot when it’s running you will be fine. But do know it will get warm quick

Just a little reminder, the hoses at the top of the ram would prevent you from rotating it 90 degrees and reattaching

It may seem pricey but covers every vehicle you own and motorcycles. When you dig into it. They do quite a bit more then the average.
Also forgot to mention they will tow the truck and trailer to your destination. Most will not.
I have a question about wax and synthetic coatings. Basically anything available to keep the shine on our new 2017 Cyclone. I would like to ask those that have had their RV for more than 8-10 years.
What product or products have you used and/or are still using that keeps that shine on the RV...
