    Roof delaminating

My son gave me that same advice, so naturally I reject it as nonsense. Just kidding. I think I need to do this. But I wonder is eternabond the same as butyl tape? I already have some of that which I used on a boat hatch seal.

    Roof delaminating

Oh my. I know a Grand Design owner who fought that fight and lost. And his trailer was only three years old. His roof rolled back from the front. They claimed the 12 year warranty was invalid because he did not inspect the roof before each use and didn’t keep a written log.

    Roof delaminating

My 9 year old 25’ Wliderness is showing delamination/separation of the roof cap from whatever is below it. This is occurring at two spots on the driver side. Who has had experience with this and what did you do? Thanks.

    Screws in wall?

Our bathroom towel rack is held by command strips. They don't work well because the wallpaper separates. Thus I want to put screws in. I know where the studs are, but they are too widely separated. Can only use one. The wall seems far too thin to support a screw. Any ideas how to do this? Thanks.

    Rear view camera

Looking for recommendations for a rearview camera. My trailer is not prewired so it will have to be wireless. My concern is the long distance the signal will need to travel to get to the truck cab monitor, and all the metal it needs to go through to get there. Any suggestions?

Central FL to Salt Lake City UT.

Do your homework on Route 9, going east out of Zion toward Bryce. There is a mile long tunnel that has special procedures for RVs. If you have extra time, visit Kodachrome Basin State Park, west of Bryce, and from there take a day trip Grosvenor Arch and Willis Creek Slot Canyon. As you go...

    Tunnels at Zion

I am planning on approaching Springdale UT from the east on highway 9. My map shows two tunnels with clearances just over 11 feet. My rig is 11'. Is anyone familiar enough with this area to give me advice on these tunnels?

    Utah question

Who is familiar with Utah highway 12 between Capital Reef and Bryce? I know it gets near 10,000 feet. I know nothing about the grades. I have a 25' Heartland Wilderness. The weight will be around 6300 lbs (max 6900) and I'll be towing it with a late model GMC Sierra 1500 with tow package. Should...

    Accumulator installation

Re: Accumulator installationy I can't see that I crossed anything. The pump comes on at it's normal annoying noise level that has been characteristic of it in the past. But after a few seconds it now seems to shift gears and get louder and starts hammering. It didn't do that before. It seems I...

    Accumulator installation

I am planning on much dry camping this fall so I bought a 2 gal accumulator to reduce pump cycles and soften pump start-ups. No installation instructions came with it, not even an online reference. But they are all basically alike and I did enough research to figure it out....mostly. It won't in...

    New Decals

Thanks to those who answered my call for help on my decals. Heartland answered my email quickly and linked me to their decal maker. An email to them with my VIN got a quick response also. They sent me diagrams of both sides, front and back of my trailer with numerical reference to the individual...

    Scratches

I have a 2015 Wilderness. We use it a lot. Things break. I fix them and keep treking, (TV, awning, slide gearbox, stabilizer) but the scratches bother me a lot. I will stand by to see if Heartland can help, and thanks the encouragement.

    Scratches

Due to an unfortunate meeting of my trailer and a Corps of Engineers camp registration office with an excessive overhang, the office no longer has a gutter and my trailer has deep scratches in the gel coat. Several decals are included in the scratching. The scratches are deep but not so deep...

    Manual override coupler lost

I didn't mean to put you down, Bob. I appreciate your input. You simply answered a question that I did not ask, i.e. the merits/liabilities of buying new vs. used. That decision is history. - - - Updated - - - That is an interesting idea. I know a hobbyist machinist who likes challenges. Thanks.

    Manual override coupler lost

The motor on my LCI front electric stabilizer got damaged last summer. I don't know what happened. I stopped in for a night while traveling and found it had broken off its mounting base and was hanging by its cables. There was no visible impact evidence on the motor case. I had planned to...
