As many in the midwest know we do not keep our toys very long before we (mainly I get the bug). We are upgrading again and are selling our whole rig. We already have a deal done but do not pick up the new rig until May 25th so there is time for someone to get a good deal.

At the national rally I installed the Furrion side marker cameras in place of the 2 front side marker lights. They work good but the door side is partially blocked by the awning. I moved it to the other side of the awning mounting channel and fished wires to the front bay. I can not for the...
Quick question. We are possibly heading the the first weekend of October. Planning on the KOA on the Canadian side. If we stay on the US side we will still drive over the boarder for site seeing. We have been to the US side of the falls but not camping.
There are 2 options for the baggage door locks. 3/4" or greater than 3/4". I do not have access to my rig for a few days and the 35% off sale starts today. Any input?
I installed it during the pre-rally. Thanks to Don Gilbert for helping me get it on the roof. The rest was pretty easy. I used the mounting plate for added strength. The "pre-wire" for the power cable, located in the ceiling of the bedroom, had a female connector and the one from the sat...
I needed to remove the entry light above the door so I could install the Furrion camera at the rally. It has openings to pry the cover off but they were difficult to see since there was so much caulking. I have included a couple of pictures to show the pry points and the sticker with the part...
Had it plugged in overnight and went to load it up for the maiden trip and it was still hot. Fan blowing but compressor wont kick on. It is a Frigidaire residential. Opened the access panel on the side of coach and I can see the fan spinning. Compressor is cool to the touch. Guess we are...
Here are a couple of pictures before we head out tomorrow for our 1st trip in the new coach. I am quite shocked at how much squat there is in my new F450. Defiantly looks like I will need to add air bags. This is before loading it up completely and not to mention we are adding a washer and...
I picked up my new coach Thursday night but due to the rain I was unable to do much to it. Yesterday I finally had a chance to start my projects and while installing the Torklift glowsteps I noticed the leaf springs are completely rusted over. This is a new coach that had been sitting on the...
We just picked our new one up. Traded in the Traveler 32RS for a year end closeout 3870FB. Now the fun begins. All the RG6 connectors I looked at were not secured very well so I will be replacing all of those, the rear camera is always on (did not try with the disconnect off) but in my...
I dont pick up my coach till Friday (hopefully) but I already ordered the Progressive Industries HW50C and was looking at pictures I took. It looks like it as simple as taking the basement wall down by the steps and mounting it there. Has anyone installed one on their 3870?

I am upgrading to the Bighorn and it is prewired for the Traveler. Dealer quoted over $600 for the install. I do not have a problem installing my self I just do not like getting on the roof. If I drill into the roof do I have to hit studs or is the roof strong enough? I have plenty of dicor...
I did not see a specific sub forum for pin boxes so I thought I would ask here. I take deliver on a new BH 3870FB that comes with the MORrydepin box. I am happy and comfortable with the Andersen Ultimate I have been using for the last year and am curious what others have found with this combo...
With the extra 7' of length, where is it added? I do not have the new one yet but am concerned about where I store it and if it will fit. I am hoping it is kind of split down the middle with 3.5' extra length behind the axles.
Thanks
Our original dealer sent us an email with year end close outs and they have a left over 2018 Bighorn 3870FB for 45% off MSRP. I called our salesman and they still have it. Out of curiosity I asked for a trade in number and was expecting the worst. The number they came back with made doing the...
Did anyone use the spacer kit for their install. On mine there is a gap on each side but I was able to still tighten it down. Not sure if it is worth adding the spacers.
Went to the storage lot today to test some video files on the TV but could not get the slides out to get back there. I tried the leveling jacks and nothing. Solenoid clicks (strong click so I assume it is good) 14V at the solenoid with my generator hooked up. Was at 12.4V when I got to the RV...
I am looking for the component location for my level up 6pt system. I am specifically looking for the brain as described on page 3 in this LCI document https://www.lci1.com/images/support/lipsheet/0307.pdf . I am getting one of the wireless remotes for a good price and LCI tech support said...
Outside of rear tire on only the off door side. Other 3 tires look good. Any ideas. They are Rainier ST235/85/R16 F rated tires. Tires were at 95 psi all summer then before our November trip, they read 87 psi (due to outside temp) so I filled back up.
We are planing on heading south for Thanksgiving to visit family in the Jax area. I have not figured out my plans there and back but have booked (can still cancel) Hanna Park site 275 for that week (was the last spot I could choose). Our plan heading down is leaving Ohio on the 15th and...
I framed in the back of my stairs leading to the bedroom in the basement. I am trying to figure out how to hinge one or both of my stairs leading to the bedroom so I could have more storage for say dirty shoes etc. Any ideas? I plan on getting rid of the carpet on them and using some left...
I need to re-rout the drain for the shower to make room for a dual filter system. I was just going to make it a portable unit but after seeing the post with the filters on a hinged door I decided I like that idea better. In the picture you can see the drain at a 45 degree angle right through...
So I just blew 2 300 amp ANL fuses on the input to my inverter. It is a newer install. 3KW inverter/charger with 4/0 cable. I think I am fusing it correctly but this is what happens. Plugged into 20a house plug with 1 AC on and the fridge. Both are on the same leg. 1st time is happened I...
I installed the Progressive industries HW50C (the one with the remote) and I am getting an E-9 error (Data link down). No other errors show up. I have it connected to my inverter generator since I am in the storage lot with no access to shore power. I called PI and they insist that it is the...
Does anyone know what the black caulking they use where the run electrical cables through bulkheads? I drilled a couple of holes for my inverter/charger upgrade and need to seal them up.
I am getting ready to install a 3000 watt inverter/charger. The manual says minimum 4/0 gauge cable from the inverter/charger to the battery's if under 3 meters. My question is can I keep the same 2ga cable that runs to the current charger and move it to the breaker panel DC side? I currently...
I will be using 2 renogy 160W flexible panels, 40A solar charger, and 3000W inverter/charge. I have 4 6V 235 amp batteries that the dealer installed and all 2GA wiring. I am pretty sure I need to change all of the 2GA to 4/0 from the inverter/charger to the batteries with a 400A fuse and 8GA...
I climbed on the roof for the first time and see no "solar conduit" that it showed in the spec sheet. I am trying to figure out where to run the wires from the panels. I am initially installing 2 160 watt Renogy flexible panels and was trying to figure out how to get the wire to the front...
Whenever we get a good rain I have water puddles on the non door side of my basement. I am having a hard time finding where it is coming in from. I have the wall down on that side since I am getting ready to clean up the cabling and I do not see any leaks in the plumbing. Any thoughts?
My rig had solar conduit listed in the standard package. I have not been on the roof yet (I bit nervous to climb up there) so does anyone know what to look for?
Not sure if you can tell in the picture but there is a 2" line that is just hanging in the empty space behind the basement wall. Looks to be coming from the plenum box.

What does everyone do that can not get in the refrigerator, due to the island, unless you extend the slides. We plan on stopping half way for fuel and to eat. On mine I have not found a way to open the slides unless the auto level has been performed.
So that ugly quad electrical box needs to be relocated. Has anyone made it more appealing? I was thinking about just using some heat shrink and a way to secure the lines inside the box. Has anyone installed a quick connector on the pin box to eliminate the connection box?
We were a bit anxious and nervous at the same time. We had a lot of time inside due to the rain so we noticed more things than we normally would. Half of the MCD shades were installed so they were on the outside of the side curtains causing them not to work correctly. I had to take down the...
