Suburban Furnace making noise like an air compressor

If the outside vents don't have a screen covering of some type over them, it's quite likely that mud daubers or similar pests have built nests on the fan blades or cage. A good cleaning may be all that is necessary.

    Rollers?

On our 2010 2900MK, we experienced a problem twice with the kitchen slide dropping to the floor. Both times, one of the welds had broken on the slide frame rail at the outside weld joint where it joins the outer wall and the slide dropped to the floor. We had the rail re-welded both times and...

What kind of slides do I have?

Another item to look for are zerk fittings on the top rear of both front landing gear legs. I never realized that they were there and ended up replacing both legs when the gears failed. Enjoy your new rig! Mike

Need Info for US Trip Planning

We have used RV Trip Wizard for years to plan our trips. Easy to use - shows RV parks, preferred daily mileage travel rings and any other POI you may want to see on the map. It's subscription based but well worth the money. Mike

Where to order Awning Fabric to match 2011 Heartland Augusta

We replaced our awning and two of our neighbors in Florida this past season. It is a very simple process best done with three people. We all ordered replacement fabric from ShadePro - very reasonable prices and nice quality fabric. This Youtube video is an excellent tutorial -...

    RV trip wizard

The subscription is well worth the cost. We have used RV Trip Wizard since it's beginning to easily plan trips to Alaska, New England, mid-west, southwest, southeast and every other trip that I've forgotten. The daily radius circle makes it an easy chore to limit mileage and select RV parks...

ATF: Sundance - What happened to Sundance line?

Re: ATF: Sundance - What happened to Sandance line? "The new Milestone brand can be considered comparable to the Sundance 5th wheel." - I don't think so since they are all 40+ feet long.

    Eternabond Tape on Slide Failure

Our slides all did the same - bubbled and uneven with debris underneath from sloppy workmanship at the factory. I used a hair dryer to heat the original tape and carefully removed it all. Lots of patience since it takes a while to release the glue. Eternabond sells a spray primer which I used...

    Kemberly/Atwood Ladder Plastic End Caps

The plastic end caps on the Kemberly/Atwood ladder on my 2010 Sundance had cracked on three rungs, making the ladder unsafe to use. After searching online, I found that Atwood sold the “rights” to the ladder to Advanced Resourcing Sales. The end caps were redesigned - one center hole and...

    2900mk awning help

Dave is correct - after being extended for six months in Florida every year, we always have to slide the awning fabric an inch or two on the top rail in order for it to roll up evenly. There are screws at each end but the awning still manages to move...

    2011 Sundance 2900MK 5r Water pump location.

If the switch red light is on, that means the pump is powered on. Sounds like it may have been left running with an empty fresh water tank. To access the pump, remove the basement wall on the UDC side of the basement (driver side).

When our rig was new, we also blew the 30 amp fuse several times - finally used a permanent marker to make a line on the legs for full extension and full retraction. I still leave a pack of mini 30 amp fuses in the front storage compartment next to the batteries - been a long time since I've...
