No, we have spent the past few summers in the UP of Michigan, and this turned out to be a stopping spot for a few days. Looking forward to seeing you as well.
The Princes', Archie & Barbara, have made reservations to attend this rally. We will arrive on June 24th and depart on June 29th. We are assigned site 38. Looking forward to it.
Hi everyone! Archie and I are looking forward to this rally and once again, I will be bringing my collection of vintage and estate sterling silver jewelry.I've got lots of new stuff to show and I know you'll like the prices!!
Come see me at site #112 on Saturday after breakfast and all day...
We'll be there!! I think we are down to arrive Wed. but may try to slide in on Tuesday. We are definitely available to provide a dish. Looking forward to talking you, Lance, about your heritage. I did a little snooping around and it seems you came from the same part of the country as I...
Arch and I arrived at Coastal GA RV resort Sunday afternoon.....gosh, it took us all weekend to navigate the 15 miles!!! LOL!! The weather has been beautiful...sunny and mid to high 70's...but...that is supposed to change on Thursday to cooler temps. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!
Randy...
For those of you that I haven't seen in awhile and those Heartlanders I have yet to meet...I wanted to let you know that I am now selling resale and vintage Sterling Silver jewelry. I will be showing my collection at the rally and invite you to come by # 307 for a look-see!
Randy....OMG...
Since we are fast approaching the Brunswick rally, I thought I would throw out some ideas for touring around the Golden Isles. Since we live here, we might be able to give you some direction on where to go and what to see!
Come visit us on site 307 and we'll give you an earful! We'll have...
I am a true believer in command strips...never had a problem! I have also purchased Scotch removable foam squares which are a much less expensive alternative if you have really light stuff....like vintage post cards. I have used them with the "vintage" stuff I make on my scroll saw....usually...
Check this out kayak2go.com/reflectoroven.PDF
This unit looks a lot like the one I built in the 70's and surprisingly similar to the very pricey "solar" oven. Solar is great but give it a little kick with a campfire!!!
Barb
I taught advanced camping skills to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in my ancient days...I used a reflector oven which appears to be a similar product but WAYYYYY cheaper. Once you are accustomed to heat produced and reflective quality of the unit, it was a snap. I would teach students how to make a...
I will be bringing a broccoli/cheese casserole for the potluck.
Archie and I are renovating a 1988 Airstream "Squarestream" to leave on our property in TN. If anyone has a set of Euroloungers they want to sell, please PM me. We are trying to make the most of the 32 ft, no slide space, and I...
Beware and do your homework...the induction cooktops require a lot of amps...a precious commodity in any RV. I concur with Jim about the cookware...just know you will pay more for good induction cookware. I bought a set at galleyware.com that has the detachable handles so that it "nests" easily...
What an ornery looking group!!!....having way too much fun! I know I am just jealous...wish we could have been there but Arch and I are on steadfast alert for grandson # 2...any day now!!!!
Hope to see everyone down the road soon!
Barb
I love these comments...exactly what I have said many times!!! I think the cabinets look dingy. I think the floor should be nicer than the current selection. One of the reasons I still love our BC (2 yrs old) is the airiness of the cherry (colored) and mocha cabinets! I realize that not everyone...
This has been the hardest note and the saddest weekend I believe I've ever had. We found out Friday that our 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier "Snowman" has a canine splenic mass. Xrays showed the liver and spleen were about twice there normal size.
For the past year or so he weighed...
Okay, so I'm no rocket scientist but this screams of PAC's or special interest groups representing the big truckers. Is their a special interest group in DC representing the RV industry and if so, are they screaming? I am appalled that this is happening....we only have diesel in our driveway and...
I am "height challenged" so I get it! However, if you lower the cabinets, the window to the left of the sink is in the way! I have adapted to the height of the cabinets but if someone comes up with a good alternative ....I'm ther e!!!
I purchased the TST 507 system about a month ago and used it the first time last week on our trip to Lake Seminole and Cedar Key, Fl.
I set the pressures as instructed by TST, 10% below & 15% above set tire pressures. My tires are E rated at 80 psi. So if my math's correct, that's 72 psi as low...
When we had our NT 26RKS I installed the Atwood 2500# Power Tongue Jack. One of the best things I ever did for the ease of set up. It fit the tongue without any problems. I've never used the Baker brand, but I would think the tongue's on the Heartland NT's would be the same!!!!!:)
Archie
Diesel prices are from $4.10 to $4.29 here in SE Georgia!!!!!
As we all know shipping cost (fuel) drives prices out the roof. A few weeks ago, I went to NAPA for a fuel filter. Less than a year ago it was $36.10, I paid $54.49 this time for the same type. OUCH!!!!!
Archie
I watched some of the race and it seems that Nascar is going to have to start paying people to attend. It didn't seem 3/4 full, if that much!!!!!
Archie
Hope you all have a great weekend....sorry we can't be there but we are having to "rough it" in Cedar Key FL...Old Florida with a huge attitude! It is gorgeous here!!!
