Need advice on reducing travel trailer sway

Re: Still swaying! With the camper unhooked from truck and setting level and on level ground camper unloaded , is the axle still arched downward. If so there is something wrong with the axle and needs to be fixed. This will cause it to sway. If you are over loaded and have an accident and the...

    Step ratings?

The best mod that I made for my camper was a set wooden steps. There are several on this site that have a set and I know that they will agree that they are stronger and it is much much easer getting in the unit with them.

Battery terminal thing corroded/broken, what to do?

It looks like the mounting screws are self taping and don't have a nut on the back side. It also looks like this some kind of fuse link, if this is I would go to auto parts store and get a weather prof in-line fuse they come in all sizes.

After clean it this time I would spray it with something like battery terminal spray or something to protect it from the elements.

    Brakes

If you wish to have no brakes at all go ahead and carry out those ridiculous orders. I can tell you exactly what is going to happen, the shoes are going to get glazed from the heat and will not work at ALL then you will have to replace them. Do not do this, go to a good trailer dealer and have...

    "Hose Taste" in Water

I found that after you use the bleach and flush it out , put about a half a box of bakeing soda in the end of hose (by using a funnel) run water into the camper's system let it set over night and flush it again. If this does not work you might have to check and see if Heartland used the wrong...

Water Tank and Water Pipes Location

When looking at my last camper a 3410RE I like that the kitchen sink was back to back to the bathroom. That meant that all the water pipe was located some what in the center on camper and was all together and not run down the outer wall. This allowed me to heat them real easy when I camped in...

Should they be a universal way to alert a safety issue on the road.

I had thought about a small digital sign that would go in the back that could be program with a warning message. Should they be a universal way to alert a safety issue on the road.

I was on I-40 today and came up on a camper that had left his steps out. This was the second time on two different occasions that this happened. Synthetic Oil

You need to read what Hastey wrote at the end of his post. After breakin, that is what Cummins told me. It makes sense if you think about it, the rings need to seat before you put in a synthetic oil because it coats the walls with a film.
