    Is the BH 3670RL retiring??

Checking out the floorplans for BigHorns on the Heartland site last night, and it shows the BigHorn 3670RL as "Dealer Stock Only". Can this be true? Is this the end of the line for the 3670? That is such a popular model and one we're partial to.

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Water pressure was fine this morning when I woke up at 24 degrees outside. It's 66 degrees now, so things are warming up (3 p.m.). Hoses and outside faucet are wrapped. Then about 11 a.m. I noticed there was hardly any water when flushing the toilet. Kitchen sink is fine. Checked the shower and...

    Oven venting

Okay, two years with this BigHorn, and I recently noticed that when the oven is on the hot air vents out at the back of the top of the range. It gets really hot there. I've had a couple of things melt that were sitting on the stove cover, because first I didn't know, then later I forgot. I never...

    Backup lights

Would anyone know if Heartland pre-wires the BigHorn for rear backup lights so they can be installed later? Sent from my cell using Tapatalk2

    Southco Keyless Entry

The keyless entry (EA-R03) quit working last night. Figured it was time to change the battery. Husband took it off this morning. It was stuck to the side of the RV with double-sided "sticky tape". Really?? Not screwed on? You're kidding me. You drive down the highway at 60+ miles an hour and...

    Redid Bedroom Window Treatments

As soon as we ordered our BigHorn, I knew I wanted to immediately change the window treatments that come stock from the factory. I wanted to match the bed covers (I already bought) and I wanted to individualize it. I went online and looked at several RV manufacturers, including the expensive...

    Dometic 4-door refrig. with auto-lock

Love this frig., but having problems with the auto-slide-lock. The service manager at our dealer, said to put this on the Heartland forum, so here I am. Not sure of the model number because the manual is locked in the RV., but I think it's the RM1350 (Dometic 4-door, auto-slide lock) that was...

For those with cats, here's our new Litter Box mod.

We have two cats and our BigHorn is just a few months old. At first we put the litter box in the closet where the washer/dryer would be and made sure we left the sliding closet door open a few inches. But it left us not being able to use 1/3 of the closet for our clothes. And I didn't like...

    What we learned today

One new thing to add to the "What Not To Do" list. Hadn't read about this on the forum. We were "breaking camp" this morning in Quartzite. As usual, I secure all the inside, while the hubby does all the exterior chores. My last task was to close the slides. I didn't realize that at the same time...

    Photo for Signature

(Not sure what category for this question). Tried to upload a photo from my computer to my signature. When I click "upload" I get "unable to save image". Image is 200 x 96 px, 27 kb. I've tried several times. I've uploaded pics to threads before, but for my Signature, it's not working. ????

Is upgrading to 8K axels overkill?

Getting down to the wire on ordering the BH 3670RL. Comes with 7K axels. Wondering if it would be better to order the 8K axels with the larger brakes from the factory, or is this overkill for the 3670? It will be our only home for a quite while, so we want to get the order right the first time...

    Pay extra for Godiva?

Okay, we are still tallying up the cost with our dealer on the Big Horn options. We want the Godiva interior. Now he says, by the way, that will be an extra $775. We are looking at our copy of the build sheet and it looks to us that that price is for an upgrade on leather chairs IPO of cloth...

    Forced Options

I see items that are "forced options" on the BigHorn build sheet (i.e. hydraulic front landing gear, keyless entry and slam baggage doors). Since you have no choice but to get them, are they still an extra charge when ordering a new BigHorn?

    BigHorn 3670RL refrigerator

We are going through options with John at Lakeshore RV on the above model. We would like the largest size refrigerator and wanted quotes with the 4-door (14 cu. ft. I believe). He said Heartland is replacing it with a 12 cu. ft. model that keeps better cooling. Just checking with the factory...

Opinion - Hi-Gloss Exterior Fiberglass Sidewalls or Satin finish?

We are getting very close to ordering our BigHorn (3670RL) and are going through the options. We see on the Heartland's build sheet, that the Hi-Gloss sidewall is an option. The dealer said that Heartland doesn't do that anymore, but it is now a "satin" finish. But, if we really wanted the...

    Modify BH 3670RL hamper area.

We are seriously looking at the 3670RL to purchase. Since our traveling companions are two cats, we are trying to figure out where to discreetly put the litter box. The salesman suggested removing the small firewall on the aft side of the basement (where the laundry hamper is located from the...
