Travel Trailer Model Naming

In looking over the North Country TT specs I noticed the trailer lengths in relation to model number seem a bit wacky. For example the NC 29RKS has a listed length of 34' 10" and the NC 30RLS has a length of 34' 6". The NC 29RLS is listed at 35' 0''. Just wondering how the manufacturers assign the model numbers?

You guess is as good as mine. Never have been able to figure it out myself.

Maybe the factory will chime in here. There could be 2 answers.

1st. on a TT, the length could be only for the camper body its self plus 3 -4 ft for the tongue.

2nd. on 5ver's, we have a 2955RL. The over all length is 34'. When hooked to the TV, there is only about 30' behind the TV. The old wives tail is that they always have a smaller # so you can camp in public CG. The model # or designation# is shorter that the real length. Sometimes by 3-4'.:confused: Bob
