winterizing

hi, i just got thru winterizing the 3055. i pumped antifreeze into the system. i turned the hot water tank bypass valve and the winterizing valve (for the inlet for the pump) but could not run the 12 volt pump without pressurizing the hot water tank (i emptied the tank before winterizing) could the bypass valve be defective? thanks, tom j

Check the check valve on the water heater outlet. Ours was defective, so I replaced it with a ball valve.

We have the same problem with our 3250 ts. It is going to our dealer this weekend so hopefully they will fix it. We also discovered a small water leak at the black water flush fitting so the dealer will be busy.....

hi, did you take out the short 1/2" piece of pipe from the top of the hot water heater and put the ball valve in its place? also where did you get the ball valve? thanks, tom
