Staples in carpet where adjacent to vinyl flooring

We can feel what we think are staples in the carpet near the shower. Does the factory use staples to hold the carpet down? And should we just pound them down when we find them?

Can't say for sure about Heartland but every other RV I've owned had staples around the edges so my guess would be Heartland also uses them. I would hammer them down.

patrick1945, yes, they do use staples and I have found some staples stick up, and have dealt with them by either pulling them out or pounding them down. If the point was not in, I pulled them, if the crown was just up, I pounded them down. Be sure to check all the edges of the carpet. You may find a few more.
